My college life with unexpectd twists.
Placements: All the students in my batch we around 80 to 90 % scores, this year the highest package was sitting 44 LPA most of them would get from Japanese company, and the lowest package was around 4 LPA. Internship depends on students capability how they select and how they work.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are really good they give you weekly twice chicken they provide special foods during festive, labs are always cleaned they provide sufficient things what ever we need. Classrooms are digitalized most of the classes have digital touchpad TV which is helpful for classes video pdf etc. Sports are good after 1pm they provide you any sports to play.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful they teach each concept clearly and provide efficient sources for studies all are qualified teachers. For the second question yes they are making is learn coding so that it's helpful for industry purpose. Semester exams are ready but main problem is in VTU board. They do not correct papers correctly, passing students get failed, failed students get passed it's particularly a scam too earn money through re-evaluation, re-exams.
Other: Though I didn't choose it internationally I got it through KCET exam. Events in college happen weekly but they keep college during fests and events and we will not be able to attend, if we have to attend we skip classes close attendance. ?

It's above average when it comes to faculty and teaching, but infrastructure could be better.
Placements: The highest package they offered this year was 43 lakh, and the average package at CMRIT is 8 Lakh. There's a separate placement cell that trains us for interviews from the 1st year itself, so we don't lack behind. They are also giving us projects in the 1st semester itself, like creating a website, as we're from CSE.
Infrastructure: To be honest, Wi-Fi is not good here. I belong to Ranchi, and being a North Indian, I don't like the food much; it's average, but South Indian friends like it. They also give snacks, so it's good. The hostel fee is 1 Lakh 70 thousand, which is really too much.
Faculty: Faculty is very good at CMRIT. They explain everything again and again as many times as you ask, and they'll clear your doubts. They are always there for students to guide and support them. We also have mentors who analyze our performance and guide us accordingly.

Good overall experience and campus.
Placements: CMRIT offers a good placement to its students, with an average package of 8+ LPA and the highest going up to 29+ LPA. Many big tech companies visit the campus and pick up skills. Companies come to pick students for various kinds of roles, like developer, analyst and many others.
Infrastructure: Though the campus is comparatively small, it offers all the top-notch facilities, including digital libraries, walk-in libraries with all sorts of books, and smart televisions in all classes. The college has a canteen with good and hygienic food and a hostel with all necessary facilities.
Faculty: The curriculum is very strict, with lots of things to study and lots of assignments to do but this helps in the overall development of the subject. The college has some of the best faculty members with great knowledge. The pass rate is also good, with students securing VTU ranks as well.

CMR Institute of Technology.
Placements: Maximum number of students are placed in both core companies and software companies. Average package of an ECE graduate, depending on their skill set, is 6 LPA. Plenty of internship opportunities are given to the students from the college. Top recruiting companies are Zenken, Capgemini, Epsilon.
Infrastructure: The faculty at CMRIT are knowledgeable enough to guide the students and help them identify their field of interest. The infrastructure is really good with all necessary amenities. The hostel accommodation and food quality are good. All classrooms are well-equipped with smart boards and projectors. The library has all necessary study material and also Wi-Fi connections. Labs are provided for the practical experience of students.
Faculty: The teachers provide well-rounded education which is relevant to the course curriculum. CMRIT follows the VTU curriculum. The semester exams are easy to ace if you have prepared well. The college has established many clubs for student-faculty interaction with the industry. Alumni talks are held which provide students connection with the companies they aim for.
Other: ECE provides knowledge about both the hardware and software sectors. Plenty of inter-college and intra-college fests and competitions are held. Scholarships are provided to qualified students. The campus is well-connected to various transport.

CMR Institute of Management college review.
Placements: Only those who have passed all language, aptitude, and programming tests and have no backlog history can sit in placements. Top companies include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Cognizant, and Dell. The highest package is 25–30 lacs per annum. The average is 4–7 lacs per annum at companies like TCS and Cognizant.
Infrastructure: The CMRIT hostel provides both single and shared rooms (usually double or triple), depending on availability. Rooms come with basic furniture such as beds, tables, chairs, and wardrobes. The hostel management ensures they are kept clean, with housekeeping services available regularly.
Faculty: Tuition fees vary depending on the course and entry scheme (management quota, CET, COMEDK). For CET students, the fee is around 70,000–75,000 per year. For COMEDK students, the fee is around 1.75 lacs to 2.5 lacs per year. For management quota students, the fee is around 2.5 lacs to 3.5 lacs per year. Typically, other fees range from 10,000 to 30,000, depending on the admission type. Lab fees are around 5,000 to 10,000 yearly. Miscellaneous fees (registration fees, exam fees, and other charges) amount to around 5,000 to 15,000 annually. Fees may increase yearly by around 5% to 10%, especially for COMEDK and management quota students. SCHOLARSHIPS: 1. CMR Memorial Scholarships 2. CMR Merit Scholarships 3. Government Scholarships.
Other: The main cultural festival, usually held in June, is a highlight of the social calendar at CMRIT. It includes events such as dance and music competitions, dance performances, fashion shows, and a game zone. Inter-college fests: Many department fests are organized by individual departments, like CS, mechanical, and electrical, which focus on specific domains.

Really satisfied by the infrastructure and the campus.
Placements: Placements here are pretty good. As far I concerned the placements during the 2020 and 2021 were high but this year (2024 pass batch) recruitment has been lower compared to previous year. This year very less number of students from ECE are placed. The companies which to college are top companies like tcs, wipro, infosys, accenture, deloitte, zenken, and many more.
Infrastructure: It is a green campus and though it is at the city centre there is less disturbance. Basic Science labs are well-equipped, and the library quite big. The librarians are so friendly and supportive. Some department labs are not so well-equipped and there's always a problem with network and connectivity. Classrooms are good and every classrooms are installed with projectors. Overall the infrastructure can be given 7 out of 10.
Faculty: Concerned with the ECE department, the teachers and the guides are good. They are so co operative and helpful. Few teachers in the department are not good, and few lab attenders as well. Especially the vlsi faculty and lab attenders are not so good and not supportive.
