A:
If you're looking to pursue B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, then you might be confused about which college to choose from. Two popular options in Bangalore are CMRIT and REVA University. My college life with unexpectd twists.
Placements: All the students in my batch we around 80 to 90 % scores, this year the highest package was sitting 44 LPA most of them would get from Japanese company, and the lowest package was around 4 LPA. Internship depends on students capability how they select and how they work.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are really good they give you weekly twice chicken they provide special foods during festive, labs are always cleaned they provide sufficient things what ever we need. Classrooms are digitalized most of the classes have digital touchpad TV which is helpful for classes video pdf etc. Sports are good after 1pm they provide you any sports to play.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful they teach each concept clearly and provide efficient sources for studies all are qualified teachers. For the second question yes they are making is learn coding so that it's helpful for industry purpose. Semester exams are ready but main problem is in VTU board. They do not correct papers correctly, passing students get failed, failed students get passed it's particularly a scam too earn money through re-evaluation, re-exams.
Other: Though I didn't choose it internationally I got it through KCET exam. Events in college happen weekly but they keep college during fests and events and we will not be able to attend, if we have to attend we skip classes close attendance. ?

Why you should choose CMRIT for a bright future.
Placements: Almost about 85% of the pass-out batch has been placed into very good companies with a decent pay scale from 3-4 LPA . The highest package was about 33 LPA. Google , SAP , etc. , are some of the companies which offer placements in their companies. 50-60 percent of people get into internships depending on their academic score .
Infrastructure: The campus features modern amenities like libraries, amphitheaters, various kinds of laboratories, and a football ground and 2 full-size basketball courts. The quality and quantity of food in the campus canteens are very good. The prices are very reasonable too.
Faculty: The faculty is very pressuring, as it?s only been 3 weeks since Coll has started, but they have given us a lot of assignments which are very difficult to complete under the given deadline, and right after that, we will be having our mid-term exams, which is pretty hard.
Other: I chose CSE as my parents told me it was good because everything in the future depends on AI and machine learning.

The College Placements Are Okay Now, and Good Infrastructure Too, Facilities Also Good
Placements: The highest package is 28 LPA, the average is 3 LPA. Internships related to my course are offered, and although placements are currently less compared to last year, it's still possible to get placed easily, though a good package cannot be guaranteed. Last year, my seniors got good placements with packages up to 9 LPA.
Infrastructure: Labs are good for practice, and the hostel is also decent. The facilities in the hostel include good food, but the hostel rooms are small. You might prefer a PG (paying guest) accommodation, as PGs are nearby and available at reasonable prices. The Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms have good infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and teaching is good in my department, though they are strict. The difficulty level of semester exams is okay, but lab internals are tougher compared to theory internals and externals, so we need to focus more on lab internals than on theory.
Other: Campus fests and other activities are good. My course is better but a little bit tough.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2015, and really good infrastructure.
Placements: The college provides training and mock interviews for placement interviews. Some of the faculty members are highly qualified. The college has a good placement programme. The highest package is 20 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. The top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Some of the faculty members are highly qualified. The college has very good infrastructure. Each department has its own lab. The college offers a Wi-Fi zone too. There are many events and festivals on campus. The college has a great sports programme. There are many clubs on campus.
Faculty: The curriculum and teaching method are good. The college has projectors in every classroom, CCTV cameras, and Wi-Fi. There are many social activities and clubs. The college provides training and mock interviews for placement interviews. Some of the faculty members are highly qualified.
Other: Some teachers are not eligible to teach degree students. The quality and experience of some teachers are not sufficient for degree students. The curriculum should be more enthusiastic for students. Some teachers don't take their job seriously and come late to class. Some teachers don't take their job seriously and waste time talking about anything except teaching the required information.

Decent infrastructure, dissatisfied with hostel and some faculty members, placement is good.
Placements: Currently, I am pursuing B.Tech from the CSE department at CMRIT College. This year, about 80% of students from this department were selected. Companies like Infosys and some Tata companies have come this year, offering average packages of 9-10 LPA, with the lowest package around 4-5 LPA. Japanese companies also came to the college, and one student received a 30 LPA offer from one of these companies, which was the highest offer received. For internships, companies start coming in the third year, offering both paid and unpaid internships. Most companies are tech-based and require knowledge in DSA or development. It is essential to know at least one language, such as Java or C++, to secure these internships.
Infrastructure: For faculty members, I would say they are average at CMRIT. They generally provide notes for exams, and you will need to study on your own. Some faculty members are from different states, so their English accents might be challenging to understand. The infrastructure is decent, with an 8-acre campus that includes a cricket ground, volleyball court, hostel gym, cafeteria, parking area, and classrooms. The library is also on campus, and Wi-Fi is available throughout. Each department has its own lab, and for the CSE department, you have Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and C++ labs in the first year. The hostel offers decent two- or three-sharing rooms with common washrooms. Personally, I would not recommend staying in the hostel due to poor food quality and high fees. There are no medical facilities provided in the hostel. The college organizes many fests, including Spardha, where students from different colleges participate.
Faculty: Some teachers are knowledgeable at CMRIT, while others seem uninterested in teaching and merely seek their salary. However, some teachers are very helpful and polite, willing to assist with doubts and queries. CSE is considered a strong course, but the college curriculum does not fully align with industry demands, so you will need to prepare on your own. Semester exams are not very difficult, and solving previous year questions will help you score around 90%. Approximately 80% of students pass with average marks.
Other: I am from the AIML branch within the CSE department. I chose this branch due to my keen interest in artificial intelligence and the high market demand for AIML engineers. This branch can make you industry-ready and offers opportunities for high earnings. I hope the college curriculum aligns better with industrial demands. The college hosts two major fests: one cultural and one called Jwala. Because the college is well-connected, many local students gain admission here. Scholarships are provided by the Karnataka government for Karnataka students but not for those from other states.
