CIT Coimbatore offers a full-time two-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) under the Department of Management Studies. The duration of the course is two years divided into four semesters. Available across six specialisations, admission to CIT Coimbatore MBA is subject to a valid score obtained by the students in the TANCET MBA exam conducted by DOTE Chennai. Selection shall be made under seven categories namely OC, BC, BCM (BC Muslim), MBC & DNC, SC, SCA and ST following the rules of reservation laid down by the Government of Tamil Nadu. 

The selection, as mentioned above is made on the basis of the marks secured in the TANCET entrance examination. If there is

CIT admission is completely entrance/counselling based and is conducted by DOTE Chennai. Candidates must have passed Class 12 in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, or equivalent with a minimum of 45% aggregate. In addition to this, students need to appear for TNEA counselling or the Single Window Admissions System. Single Window Admissions System is used in Anna University for TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission). It is popularly known as Anna University Counselling and is part of the process via which students completing Class 12 apply and secure admission to Engineering colleges within Tamil Nadu. The important strategy is that the counselling is conducted based on rank list, if a student is present for counselling then without allocating a college and course for that student, next rank cannot be allocated with a seat.
