Dissatisfied with College's Poor facilities and restrictions, Average faculty, Average placement e.

Placements: Placements in this college are average. It rarely happens when some good company comes here for placement. And even if it does then the chances of the students getting hired are very rare. It would be good if the college would provide some interviews preparation classes. It would help the students for improving their aptitude skills. Also, we can start all these things from first year only. By organizing group discussions in hostels and bhawans time to time, weekly or monthly will definitely inc...

A good college among the average ones.

Placements: The placement rate is acceptable. The average package is about 3.5 lacs per annum. There are times when the highest package goes up as high as 21 LPA, but it is a rare occasion. The placement greatly depends on the student's calibre, and the college adds little to it.

I will not recommend anyone to take admission in this college.

Placements: Placements are available for mainly three branches CS, IT and EE. Almost, 70-80% of the students get placed in many industries. HCL and Infosys are the mass recruiters. CS and IT are the branches which are placed in big companies like Dell, HCL, Infosys. The placements for branches other than CS, IT and EE, is average.

On a scale of 10, I will give it 4. The college needs to replace teachers with some qualified one.

Placements: Placement were good for Computer Science student. There were major start-ups based companies approaching the college. Only HCL was the one I have heard of before. Rest all were startup based companies offering 2-3 LPA. Tier is a placement cell which is operating normally in the campus.

There is a good college life.

Placements: The placements are quite okay. If you have adequate skills, then you can easily bag a good package as many companies with various packages visit the campus. There is a helpful training and placement cell in the college. Many companies visited the campus such as HCL, Robodude, Genpact, etc.

We are hoping something, from a new change in this college.

Placements: This semester, i.e., 2017-2018, a lot of CS companies visited the campus but mostly was service-based companies, but no product-based companies visited the campus. This year, a new IBM lab was made with high-end systems which are good for CS students. Apart from this, various communities like TRIAC and SAE are there for the technical growth of the students.

Okay with the limited opportunities.

Placements: I was the only one to get the placements in a core company by the time I left the college. I had to leave in between, as the company called me before the 8th semester. I heard that 2 more people got placement in Anchor switches. I secured a seat in AIS India glass, that too in pool campus at UIT. The placements are really pathetic. They do not even check the credibility of the company coming in for the placements. Had many fraudulent companies that visited our campus, can't say anything now.

The review by an MBA student of College of Engineering Roorkee.

Placements: The placements are decent. A few companies are interested to visit the college. Mostly, the students have to go for walk-in interviews with very less college support. So I will not suggest this college regarding the placements. If you are looking for a college which provides placements, go for some other.

The civil engineering placements are very poor.

Placements: The college had poor placements in the civil department. There is no one able enough to call up a company in the college. TPO officer is not serious about placements of civil engineering. Fake placement is well done in the college. Fake companies are called up to the college campus to record their best placements.

There were good placements during the year 2017-2018.

Placements: The placements here have been slightly better than the previous batch. The CS placements here are better than any other branch as a lot of companies visit the campus, and the students here can also go for the pool campus placements. The highest salary offered this year was Rs. 5 Lakhs. The average salary offered here was around Rs. 1.5 Lakhs and the lowest was Rs. 1 Lakhs. Here, companies like HCL, Smartprix, Bhilwara, Rubico IT and others visited the campus. Students of the CS branch were also ...

Don't keep high expectations. It is a normal college with no quality of education.

Placements: The placements for the civil branch is almost negligible. There are some companies which consider candidates from all branches for the placement process. The job profile is not related to civil in that case, and the package is maximum 2 LPA. So the placement for the previous years and this year 2018 is bad. The lowest package was 1.2 LPA. There is a cover placement committee which comprises of students from all years. The teaching staff who together carries out a placement drive and the arrangem...

Not fully satisfied because lots of restrictions are there for girls in hostel and poor faculty.

Placements: The placements offered were no good for our seniors. Mostly the students were placed from the CSE branch. The average package offered was around 3 lacs per annum. The companies like HCL, Technosys, Rubicon, ICICI, Acadmiaguru, Smartprix, Genpact, Bhilwara, etc. visited our college. Mostly the students were placed on the off-campus drive. Winter and summer internship training is provided in the college itself for the willing students. There are a placement cell and a placement committee also. The...

Autocratic rules are present in the college.

Placements: In our college, the placement cell is retarded one. The college administration and the training and placement department never gave any attention towards our batch. Our college students used to go to different colleges for the pool placement. The data shown on our college website is fake, and the students who got placed were more by the pool placement than our college placement. Overall, it is very bad regarding placements.

Quite satisfied with the faculty. Placement not so good. Infrastructure is better than other college

Placements: The placement is quite an average. Most of the companies those visit in this college is mainly for computer science and IT branch but if you are from mechanical or civil background then there is a very little hope for you to get placed. The electronics and electrical students are also sometimes placed in software companies. Most of the companies that come in the college are startup companies or sometimes they don't even exist.

College - The life changing time.

Placements: The placement for our senior batch wasn't that much good. Only 50-60% of the students got placed with the average package of 2.5 to 3 lakhs per annum. The highest package was 6 lakhs per annum. Approximately, 70% students got an internship from the college , and that was an average quality internship.

I am dissatisfied because there are no placements, mess food is not good and the faculty is good.

Placements: In our time, some placements were provided. I am from B.Tech civil engineering batch 2009-2013, so for girls who all are pursuing civil engineering from this college, it's worthless. There are no placements offered for civil engineers. There are placements only for computer science and IT engineers. 20% of the students were placed in my time. The companies like Infosys, Wipro and IGATE Patni visited. There are no internships provided by the college.

Everything is average but placement is the worst and a show off on the website.

Placements: There are no placements in the college. Every time, there is a visit of fake and fraud companies. Placements are degrading day by day. The college advertises too much fake data related to placements on its website. There are always fraud companies welcomed by the college and the college management never searches for their complete and genuine date. The training and placement cell is poor. Even if any student gets placed (.09%) he/she will never get a call from the company side after the placeme...

Not satisfied with the placement.

Placements: The placement scenario is the worst in this college. Not a single core company visited our college in 2016. Companies that visited were either BPOs or calling profile. I would not join this college at any cost as it is not a good move to go to those colleges which do not provide you placements.

Good facilities but less placements and knowledge.

Placements: Placements were not up to the mark this year. About 30-40% of students got selected particularly in CS and IT branches. Civil and mechanical students' placements' were very low. The highest salary package was 5-6 lacs in a software company, the lowest was 1.2 lacs and the average salary was 1.8-2.4 lacs. Companies like Connect Broadband, Irawati Constructions, Vodafone, etc. About 20 companies visited the campus. Roles of software developer, management trainee, sales executive or site engineer w...

The quality of education provided is average resulting in demotivation . Students with self motivation can prove their caliber. Excellence comes with confidence and stability. Maintain that and you will excel in every field. Management is not very cooperative. Campus is fine. Cafeteria is also good. Coming to the placements - You have to manage things for yourself. I am placed in TCS ( off campus). So go for exams like AMCAT and Elitmus. They really help a lot.
