Placements: If you are considering this college for placement, be aware that it might be disheartening. In my batch, there was not a single placement for IT jobs. There were companies coming to campus, but they were only for marketing jobs, such as Hike Education, Decathlon, and Ceasefire Limited.
Placements: A small amount of students were placed in my course as compared to other colleges. And the environment for students is not so good. In my college, the lowest package is around 3-4 Lacs, and the highest package goes up to 18 Lacs.
Placements: The placements are not very great with only a few good companies like Flipkart and Ashok Leyland coming. Otherwise, mostly local companies that the college has connections with and partnerships with visit. There are a few banks that come and offer few roles.
Placements: The packages are very similar to other colleges and most of them are in the range of 5-8 LPA. Although the placement cell is trying to improve it. This year one company offered a 34LPA CTC but no one was selected due to lack of skills. Also, most of the recruitments are in service based companies.
Placements: Core companies do not visit our campus. Maximum marketing companies come to the College of Engineering, Roorkee. In civil engineering, the maximum salary package offered is 4 LPA. Students of core branches are not satisfied by the placements and the companies also.
Placements: The placement rate in our college is not good. Some of the students got placed, and otherwise, all students would get placed outside. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Zomato etc. The lowest package offerd is 3.4 LPA, and the average package is 4 lacs per annum. The college does not provide internships.
Placements: During my tenure, not even a single company visited here, so none of the students got a job. Only IT companies visit here and some CS companies, but not even a single company visits here for the civil course. If students want to join this college for placements, I suggest not to join as none of the students from the civil course gets jobs here.
Placements: Placements were not up to the mark. They need to work a lot in TPO department ( Training and Placement office) They are not able to attract companies for the placement purpose. The placement of the college is about 20% or less. Mostly the BPOs visit for the placement and students are not willing to start their career with a call center.
Placements: Almost everyone in the batch was placed but only few of them were in their core companies. Majority of the students were stuck with either marketing or BPO jobs. Extremely dissatisfied with the placements. Students have to roam outside the campus for the better opportunities for their careers.
Placements: Placements are average, and many students opt for PG to get good placements. Salary packages offered are very average, which is between 2 to 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Tech Mahindra, HCL and small IT firms.
Placements: Average package from the 2017 batch was 2.5 LPA, The internships are your own luck what you can get on your own, no help from the college management. Average placement is around 50-60%, Basic L1 positions were offered by the companies. The TPA dept needs some improvement.
Placements: Placements in the CS branch are not up to the mark. Overall placements in our college are below average for all branches, but I will only be focusing on the placements of CS branch. About 40% of the students get placed from the campus and that too not in very good organisations. The starting salary packages offered are as low as 1.2 LPA. The average salary package floats around 3 LPA. Many mass recruiters and startups recruit from our college like Byju's, Extramarks, Wipro, and TCS. Graduates fr...
Placements: The placement rate was less than 10% for our batch and our senior batches. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 1.8 LPA. Companies recruited students on a contract basis. Companies that visited the campus were not worth mentioning. All the companies were from the software sector. Less than 1% of the students were offered internships. The placement cell was poor. They cared more about students working for the placement committee.
Placements: Placements are not appreciable. In my BBA batch, no one got placed, but if I'm talking about MBA & B.Tech, there are some good placements. Although COER had good placement record 3 years ago, the current scenario is the worst. Only a few companies visit the college.
Placements: College of Engineering Roorkee (COER) provides good placements for THE STUDENTS OF computer science engineering (CSE) and information technology (IT). The placements for the students of other branches of engineering like ME, CE etc., are average. There is also a placement cell in COER College. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4.2 LPA.
Placements: Placements in Management and IT sector is pretty good. But when it comes to Core branches like Mechanical and Civil, it becomes low. The placements have average salary package of 3 lac per annum. Companies like HCL, Infogain, Education is fun, etc. visited the college.
Placements: There is no such placement offers that you are expecting in your final year. Companies that we have seen in our job fair were not reputed, and l never heard their names or they do not have their own official website. Most of the companies didn't contact the students after the recruitment, who were recruited in an off-campus placement with their own efforts.
Placements: Here, the placements are good for CS and IT branch as most of them get placed with an average salary package. Overall, the placement in this college according to some previous years has been poor. There are no placements for the branches like civil and mechanical.
Placements: There are no placements at all for civil engineering students and not even for IT/CS students. If you have planned what to do after engineering, then only come to this college. The placement cell is also not much of a help. It's years since I have seen any good placement at all, no need to waste your money studying here.
Placements: The college placement committee is helpful. Placement was not good enough for the previous year, but this year the students are looking forward to their placements in the good companies. Now, the Students have enough chances for trying the placements, and more than enough students got placed in good companies.
