Life at Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering.

Placements: Placements in the college went well this year. Most of the students have got placed till now. Companies that have visited the college for campus drives include Zensar, LTI, Tata Elxsci, TCS, Deloitte, Capgemini, etc. The minimum salary offered was Rs. 33,800 per month and the maximum was Rs. 38,000 per month. Some of the students have got an internship from Zensar, provided by the college itself. The internship offered some knowledge of software testing as well.

Dissatisfied with the teaching techniques.

Placements: There are no placements in our college. Only 4 out of 90 students got placements. Only 3 core companies arrived for the mechanical department. Marketing, BPO, and statistical types of companies often visit our college for recruitments. Training and placement faculty does not share about the package which the company gives. We get the knowledge about the package during the company drive.

It will not be a bad choice if you don't have any other options.

Placements: The companies visited in 2016-2018 are Mindtree, Byju's, Transasia - Biomedical Manufacturing, Zensar Technology, TCS, LTI, L Cube, Cognizant, Lucas, TVS, Silver Peak, Prototech, E-Zest, Emphasis, System Plus, Tech Mahindra, Cybage, and Fiserv. The maximum salary offered was 17.75 LPA, and the average salary was 10.37 LPA.

Absolutely dissatisfied by the college for placements.

Placements: The placements of the production engineering department are very poor even for our seniors and in my batch. Though I got selected from the campus, the package was 1.8 LPA for my year. The highest package offered was 9 LPA by Trident, but it too was through pool campus, the lowest package was 1.8 LPA offered by Sun Vacuum Formers Pvt Ltd. Only 6 companies including 5 MNCs for production engineering came for the campus hiring which includes TCS, ZS, Trident, LAVA, Kirloskar, etc. The roles offered...

There is good infrastructure, but the placements and faculty are not good.

Placements: Too many companies visit the campus, but they take no one as no one is qualified for sitting in the interview. The main problem is the teaching faculty, they teach us in the way that we are not able to qualify even for the aptitude test. The students are facing difficulty regarding this.

Dissatisfied due to placements and with the behaviour of HOD

Placements: In the department marks and good grades are not given because teachers earn money first by giving backlogs and then by taking large amounts of money in the form of bribe from students. Hardly the topper gets the placements. If you want only a degree from college, then you can take admission here.

It looks like a worthy college, but it is not.

Placements: Placement wise, BVPCOE Pune is an average ranking institute. Every year, from CS, IT and EnTC branch, the placement is 100%. In the past, Amazon picked one student at 24 lacs per annum; Adobe gave 23 LPA, etc., but only a few, 25-30%, students have CTC of more than Rs. 50,000 per month. In other branches, the placement scenario is not even average. EEE students mostly opt for PG courses rather than getting placed. Civil and chemical branches have negligible placements. Mechanical (and production...

The infrastructure is quite good; placements degraded since the last two years.

Placements: The placements were average this year for core branches like mechanical, electrical and civil. For CS and IT, the placements were good. The package given was also average as most of them offered around 3.5 LPA. Basically, from the last two years, the placements gradually decreased as they were good before.

Good for computer science, IT and E&TC branches only

Placements: If I am very honest, there is no placement activity for mechanical, production and chemical branches. Otherwise, there are good placements in computer science, IT and also in E&TC. At my time, the highest package was 21 lakhs (Mu Sigma) off-campus. The average package of my campus is 2.80 to 3 lakhs. There is no particular company which came for internships except Zensar Technologies.

It is the most valuable to an aspiring student

Placements: It is about 25-30 percent placements carried out in mechanical. The lowest was 3 lacs and the highest was 6 lacs. Taj, Vivanta, Honda, Mu Sigma, etc. It was mostly in technical trades, automobiles, managerial posts, etc. 4-5 percent students have done the internship from our college. Not a single penny was given by college as a stipend.

Not worth it because of scoring marks.

Placements: Placements are average and the package offered is 3 lakhs PA on an average. Not 100% placements so it is not worth the investment. A majority pf students could not score 60% in this college. So, if you are coming into an average college, try some other college rather than Pune. Around 60-70% students got placed last year. The highest package was 6 LPA and the lowest was 1.8 LPA.

Great college and under budget even the placements are good.

Placements: 98% students were placed and the highest was 23LPA and the lowest was 4LPA. Top recruiting company was Amazon. Almost every student did their internship for 3-6 months. Don't worry about placements and all you will get placed, just your assignments and study hard.

It is the best college for me.

Placements: Everything is perfect here. But as it is a private college, many problems are faced by students. From our course, around 55% of the students got placed. Many companies like Oyo, Paytm, Infosys, etc., visit here for placements, and those are some reputed companies. The salary package of around 2 LPA-3 LPA is offered in our course. However, many students get internships for their future in IIT. Some students are directly chosen by reputed companies.

I had a good college life, but the placements are bad.

Placements: Honestly, many students from my batch have not been placed yet. Those few who got placed were offered a very low package, around 1.8 or 2.6 LPA. Some mass recruiters also offered a package of 3 LPA. But, as I am from electronics and telecommunication branch and I don't know much coding, I didn't get placed in any. There were no course-specific jobs or companies that visited here. Around 99% of the companies wanted students with coding skills. The course of electronics seems useless.

It is an average college in terms of infrastructure and course.

Placements: The average salary package offered in the computer branch is 5 LPA, the highest salary package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. About 80% of the students from the computer branch got placed in our college. For other branches, placements are below average.

Dissatisfied because of faculty and average placement. The infrastructure is good.

Placements: 70% of students are placed every year. Some students get off campus placement every year so off Campus package is good compared with on campus. On campus placement package is mostly 3.5 Lacs. Only Service based companies visit the campus. For electronics course, no company come for internship (0% internship).
