Overall, it is a good college.

Placements: Placements were good until my time. Now it went down. In the year 2017, the placements were not too good but were up to the mark. Mostly, BPOs and for CS branch related companies were called, and for core, hardly 8 to 10 companies were called. Every person did their internships in MNCs. An average stipend of about Rs. 10,000 was offered. There is a placement cell, which is very useful.

A world-class college in Bhubaneswar.

Placements: The average number of students are placed in reputed MNCs. TCS, Infosys, Accenture and many more top class MNCs are our top recruiters. The placement officer is trying to bring many MNCs to the campus for placement. Pre-placement training is carried out for every student. World-class trainers are coming to the campus.

You will never regret if you study in this college.

Placements: There are lots of companies visiting our college and the placement percentage is nearly 91% to 93%. Also, seniors get placed in companies like the Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc. The average package goes nearly Rs. 2.7 lakh per annum. The highest package is above Rs. 4 lakhs per annum.

College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar (CEB) - review.

Placements: The placement is not good at all. Some of the known companies had recruited the students. Most of the IT companies were invited by the college whereas the civil branch's students were not at all allowed. Some of the good Companies that recruited in 2017 are Tech Mahindra and ADP. Many pool campuses are also organised here.

The college is superb, but not in the placements.

Placements: The placements are average and not more than 3 lacs per annum, but still, it is good and gives placement for computer science student only so that I treat it the best just for CS student, and another branch placement is not that much good, so take admission in the computer science branch only.

Very good for the placement.

Placements: Many companies come to participate in the campus recruitment programme. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Genpact etc. are the few of the companies which recruit engineers from this institute. The placement of our senior was very good. They got a high salary from the companies, but many students got rejected for their low percentage in +2. Other companies that came are low labels, and I even didn't remember their names.

The best college and I love it.

Placements: Although, the placement in our college seems to be good. Many students like our seniors have various types of problems regarding this. They said that, in the last year, very few companies were entered our campus. Many reputed companies visit our colleges like Tech Mahindra and Tata companies. Overall, the placements are average at this college.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements, faculties are good in CSE department, Infrastructure

Placements: Placements are not much good in recent years , Only BPO companies are hiring students. Our seniors are suffering to get a job . There are offering only 8000-900 0 salaries from most companies. Students have to visit other colleges for getting jobs. A student can't get a perfect opportunity from here.

All about College of Engineering Bhubaneswar

Placements: For the field of placement, it is good. In previous years, many good companies are visited like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, ADP Accenture, IBM, John Deere and many more local companies visited. The highest package is 4 lakhs, the lowest is 2.5 here and for pool campus, 6 lakhs is highest. More than 80% students got placed from here, but this year, the placement is going a little bit down.

Review of College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar, BPUT.

Placements: The placements were not up to the mark with BPO offers for B.Tech students. They should give priority to technical core companies for a better development of the students. The students must be trained to how to face the placement team. They must concentrate on the overall development of the students.

Good in some areas. But bad in most of the areas. In my view, someone should choose a better college

Placements: Not so good in placements. 3 or 4 companies which had come for recruitment were fake. Somehow, 2 or 3 companies are good like Infosys and Exillant. Other companies were asking money to join them.40 percent of students were placed but 20 percent students were able to join company properly .salaries of genuine companies were as per industrial standard.some of the companies were listed below who were visited: (Infosys (G), Exillant (G), SIS (F), Global Infotek (F)). ...

Good placements after recessions were over

Placements: Placements were good in our college though not many students got placed from our batch because of recession. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. like well-reputed companies have hired students from our college through campus selection. Other than campus selection, many students get into reputed companies because of the knowledge they acquired from our college.

Really good campus located in the town.

Placements: It depends every year and placements are not 100%. Tech Mahindra visits the campus and conducts a mass recruitment. IBM and MindTree also visit but mostly, students are placed through off-campus. For my batch, the placement was not good but our seniors were placed well. For our batch, most of the companies arrived offering tech support or software profiles.

Dissatisfied due to placement in 2016 & 2017. The faculty members are not sufficiently qualified.

Placements: Placement records (CSE & IT) for 2016 are given below: 80 (placed students) /120 (total students). On-campus companies: Infosys, Tech Ahead, MindTree, Innoeye, etc. Off-campus companies: ADP, TCS, MindTree, Persistent, FSS, Vardentis JTG, IBS, Allerin Technologies, etc.

My horrid days in CEB. My experience which left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Placements: I am an average student. I did not even get 60% in my 12th but still, I got placed in two companies, namely, Wipro BPS and Cybrain Solutions. The placements overall were very good. Many reputed MNCs like Infosys, TCS, etc. came for recruiting students from my college. Approximately 80% students were placed in various companies. I, however, did not join either of the two companies I got placed in as I wanted to pursue a career in banking.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements in 2016, and because of some faculty members too.

Placements: Placements facility is very poor. The authorities of CEB are not taking necessary steps to increase the placement opportunities. It was good till 2013 but now the college is not providing good placements. For electronics, there was no company to apply at all.

Placements: It has average placements in mostly IT companies. The average package is 2.4 lakhs and the highest package is 4 lakhs. The placements companies which come are mostly for the programming job profile. The placement improving now and will be better for future batches.

Faculty is good but not helpful. Placement record and infrastructure is average.

Placements: 70% companies that visit are BPOs. If you belong to the CS branch then it's good for you since maximum companies are related to the software field. The lowest salary range is 10k-15k. Industrial tie-ups are not so good in the current scenario. Major companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys were missing in 2017 campus placements.

Good collage to do your engineering.

Placements: In our placement year, 30% students got placed and 10% students didn't get there joining letter. Now the collage placement officer named Sai Krishna; don't trust him. He will demand money for offer letter. For placement training, they will charge extra around 12k. There is a good thing though- they will call professional trainers to train you. If you scored below 60% in 12th/intermediate, don't expect placement.
