I am satisfied because of the faculty and good placements in 2016.
Placements: About 60-70% of the students from our course got placed. Top recruiting companies like Tata Motors, Philips, Fiat, Cognizant, Capgemini, etc., visit our college for placements. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges from 5-6 LPA. About 2 out of 20 students got an internship at the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is unique and awesome. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped. The library has good books. The hostel is comfortable with facilities like mess, 24-hours medical service, purified drinking water, hot water for a bath, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified. Some teachers are PhD holders. They help students with their final year projects and also with an internship. The course curriculum is unique as COEP is an autonomous college. Their teaching quality is excellent and practical oriented.
Other: Our college conducts many fests, events and extracurricular activities like Zest, Mind Spark, Baja competition, Guinness World Records, etc.

Review of COEP - College of Engineering, Pune.
Placements: About 40-45% of the students form our course got placed due to COVID-19 situation, but it could have been more. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA ranging from 3.75 to 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Tata Motors, Philips, Fiat, Cognizant and Capgemini visit our college for placements. About 2 students out of 18 got an internship in companies like Philips and KPIT.
Infrastructure: Our college provides fast Wi-Fi facility for students. Labs are well-equipped with required instruments. Classrooms are average, but there is no common room. The library has good books but in limited quantity. The hostel is average as each room had 4 students, so there is less space to spread. Quality of food served at hostel mess was best when compared to other mess in Pune. The canteen facility should be improved.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-qualified, and some teachers have industrial experience. The course curriculum should be updated at regular time as industries are updating. The books have only basics were as updated courses should have the latest requirement. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready as the projects are of good potential.
Other: The campus crowd is the best, and at the time of events and fests, the real passion comes out. It is a good place to nurture talent.

Our college is good with knowledgeable faculty, and it makes students industry-ready.
Placements: Only 5% of the students from our course got an internship in General Electric Hyderabad. For M.Tech course, very less technical companies visit our college for placements. Gujarat GIFT visited our college and offered a salary package of 5 LPA. The salary package offered to the students was 6.2 LPA by Toyo Engineering. Mostly students got placement in software companies like Cognizant, TCS, etc. Top roles like advanced process control, modern control system, industrial automation, sensors and transducer are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: Labs, classroom and a library are equipped with good infrastructure. Wi-Fi facility is also available in all labs and classrooms with good speed. The hostel infrastructure is also good with proper food. Our college also provides medical facilities and a sports arena. There is a separate gym facility for students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were knowledgeable and helpful. Their teaching quality was also good. The course curriculum helps to strengthen the basis of the subject, and it makes students industry-ready in terms of technical college. They provide some projects for students.

Best option for M.Tech in Maharashtra after IIT bombay, NIT Nagpur.
Placements: 30 % students were placed from a batch of 20 students with an average package of 5 lacs/ annum. Companies like Total environment, Tata consulting engineers, dar al handasah hired the students. Dar al handasah has its head office in Pune itself. And hence it often comes for placement in COEP campus. Though it hires 3 to 4 students max. The highest package for civil engineering is around 6.5 lacs per annum. The lowest package is around 3.5 to 4 lacs. Recently 8 students from a batch of 21 from structures were shortlisted for an internship programme by AFCONS Infrastructure Ltd.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility at COEP is good. The internet speed is 1-2 Mbps with a data limit of 1 GB per day. You can register 2 devices on the network. The labs are equipped with fully functional instruments like UTM, maturity meter, Ultrasonic pulse velocity meter, rebound hammer etc. There are two canteens available in the campus. These are quite hygienic. There is college ground opposite to hostel campus were almost all sports are played. A basketball court is also there inside the ground campus. Coming to the hostel campus, there is a newly constructed multistorey building as girls hostel. There is comparatively an older building for boys hostel. Moreover, the rooms are smaller. The hostel campus houses a gym will good equipments. There are 3 mess inside the hostel campus serving hygienic healthy and tasty food at an affordable price especially for students. Breakfast lunch evening breakfast and dinner are served. The hostel is near to JM road.
Faculty: The teaching staff for structural engineering department is good with all the professors having their PhDs from IITs and Nits. The academic calendar is well planned and the curriculum for M.Tech focuses on research and developing skills that are crucial for industry with added knowledge compared to B.Tech.
Other: Structural engineering is one of the most challenging yet sort after course in the civil engineering domain. With the growing demand in the civil and infrastructure sector, there is a huge requirement of skilled and qualified structural engineers for design, analysis of complex structures. The placements for the structural department are not up to the mark. To solve this problem There should be internship programs for all students so that they could learn actual industry oriented skills and applications of theoretical knowledge. The students' committee organises most popular events like Zest, Mindsparks wherein students from almost all engineering colleges in Maharashtra participate.

Our college provides good atmosphere and exposure and relatively good campus placements.
Placements: The placement scenario varies every year, and on average, there will be more than 70% placements. The highest salary package offered in 2018 is 10-11 LPA. For 2020 passed out students, the highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Companies which visited our college for placements include Hyundai Motors, Siemens, Capgemini, Oracle from Corp campus and Fiat Chrysler and Volvo Eicher from ARAI campus. Tata Motors provides internships to students with a stipend of Rs. 25,000 per month, then after that, PPO based on their performance. Mass recruiting companies like TCS also visit this college with a salary package of 3.5 LPA. Around 50-60% of the students opted for internships in Tata Motors, Faurecia, Cummins, and ARAI, while the remaining students opted for a project in college during their 2nd year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is fine, and labs are available here. The Wi-Fi is available throughout the college, and the library is good enough. For practicals, ARAI labs are used. The hostel is available for only one student per branch for M.Tech students and is alotted based on GATE exam score. The hostel is not available for 2nd-year students, but students can avail hostel mess food which has good quality overall. The medical facility is available in the hostel. For sports and games purposes, there is a huge ground where students can play cricket, football and basketball. A badminton court is also available on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and do not trouble students. Most of the teachers are doctorates. ARAI faculty members are also equally good. The course curriculum is old, but faculty members try to introduce better courses which will help students to gain practical knowledge. The 2nd-year project helps students to implement knowledge in the project and internship helps to provide exposure to industries.
Other: I chose this course because M.Tech from Corp helps to have better placement opportunities than many of other NITs. The automotive background provides many automotive companies for you. The course curriculum can be surely improved. Events and fests are organised frequently, and there are many clubs in our college. In terms of extracurricular activities, this college is superb and provides a very good campus life.
