Dissatisfied with the faculty. The placement is good because of the brand name of the college.
Placements: Almost, 40% of the students got placed, but most of them are not in the core domain. Three students got placed in TCS, 1 in parallel wireless, 1 in Infosys, and 1 in Renu electronics. Three students got the internship in Seagate HDD. The stipend offered during the internship is Rs. 30,000. There is a central placement cell in the college.
Infrastructure: The Free Wi-Fi facility is available in the campus with 1 GB as the daily limit. The classrooms and the library are good. There is a college ground nearby the college hostel, where we have the facilities like volleyball, cricket, football, and basketball. The best thing about the college is a mess food. They provide the awesome quality food at the lower prices like Rs. 2,500 per month. The hostel rooms are bad because the capacity of the students is less.
Faculty: The course curriculum is mostly related to the specialisation. It covers all the aspects relating to the specialisation. Most of the faculty members are qualified. The embedded part is awesome in the college because of the industry exposure. The faculty members of VLSI are not qualified, not helpful, and not knowledgeable. The student to faculty ratio is 18:1.

No, there is no such provision to get direct admission in any of the UG, PG, or doctoral courses. COEP Technological University (formerly known as COEP) admissions are strictly based on merit only. Therefore, only those candidates who have valid scores/ rank of MHT-CET, GATE, JEE-Main, among others can apply for any of the courses provided by the College of Engineering, Pune (COEP). Hence, the interested candidates need to take these entrance exams according to their choice of course in which they want to enroll.

Q:   How much 12th percentage is required for COEP?

A: 

COEP Technological University (Formerly known as COEP) mainly intake admission through MHT-CET and the eligibility criteria laid down by MHT-CET for BTech is the candidate should have passed class 12 or SSC or Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 45% aggregate.
