College where you get small experience of world.

Placements: 1. About 50% students are placed from production sandwich course. 2. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA. And the highest package offered till now is 10 LPA. 3. The top recruiting companies are Bajaj, Caterpillar, TATA Autocomp, Godrej, cotton greaves in my last year. These were core companies. Along with those some IT companies such as Oracle, ZS, Capgemini, GEP, Optimize were also recruiting students who are able to do coding. 4. Almost all students got internship, as our course is sandwich,...

I am satisfied with infrastructure but not with placements and curriculum.

Placements: Placements in our college are very low for the planning branch through the college. Hardly any company shortlists students of planning. Students, therefore, start preparing for other entrance examinations to pursue MBA and M.Tech. Many students start preparing for MPSC and UPSC examinations. Computer and IT students got placed easily through campus only. EnTC and instrumentation have good placement percentages too.

Review of COEP - College of Engineering, Pune.

Placements: From 2020 batch, about 50% of the students got placements. Maximum placements are conducted for a computer course, and along with that, students who opt for computer minor have great opportunities for placements. The highest salary package offered here is as high as 36 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. For PPOs, high salary packages offering companies from a huge range like from MNCs to startups visit here. You can have a scope to get placements in management to core compani...

Disappointed about placement and good opportunity for civil service aspirant.

Placements: College placement this year was very poor campare to last year. Hardly few students placed in companies. 35% students placed mainly in IT Companies. Most of the students placed on their own. Average package offer is between 2.5 to 3 Lacs. Very few core companies visited this year so far.

Review of COEP - College of Engineering, Pune.

Placements: Mostly companies from IT background or consulting firm recruit students. Placements are average in this branch as it depends on what you have after your degree. Around 20 to 30% of the students of this branch got placements. Most of the career opportunities are in the government sector specifically, so this ratio is good enough.

I am satisfied with the quality of students and teachers, but placement for some branches are low.

Placements: The top role offered is a B.planner in various institutions such as PMRDA, private planning firms such as AIILSG. However, roles offered in the early days are a junior planner or as an assistant to the planners of an organisation.

Our college is good with knowledgeable faculty, and it makes students industry-ready.

Placements: Only 5% of the students from our course got an internship in General Electric Hyderabad. For M.Tech course, very less technical companies visit our college for placements. Gujarat GIFT visited our college and offered a salary package of 5 LPA. The salary package offered to the students was 6.2 LPA by Toyo Engineering. The curriculum is designed to keep you busy more in academics, and you have to study by yourself.

Placements: Placements are average as the automobile sector has slowdown. The average salary package offered is ranging from 6 LPA -8 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Tata, Bajaj, Eaton, etc. Around 10-15 % of the students from our batch got an internship in the third year. College is good for electronics related studies and placements at present.

Best option for M.Tech in Maharashtra after IIT bombay, NIT Nagpur.

Placements: 30 % students were placed from a batch of 20 students with an average package of 5 lacs/ annum. Companies like Total environment, Tata consulting engineers, dar al handasah hired the students. Dar al handasah has its head office in Pune itself. And hence it often comes for placement in COEP campus. Though it hires 3 to 4 students max. The highest package for civil engineering is around 6.5 lacs per annum. The lowest package is around 3.5 to 4 lacs. Recently 8 students from a batch of 21 from str...

Good in few aspects but disappointing in many.

Placements: COEP is known for it's placements. 100% placements is what they say but this isn't true at all. Except the CS and IT courses no other course has a placement percentage more than 85. Electrical barely touches 75-80%. The highest salary offered by any core company was 12 l. p. a to 3 l. p. a. A great college with good placements and facilities. The teaching methodology can be better.

Placements: Companies visiting the campus for placements are great. In the first month of the final year, at least 10 companies visited the college. Almost 50% of the students got placed in the 7th semester itself. The average salary package offered was around 5-6 LPA. The number of companies and placement offers are better for computer science and IT branches. However, in the end, everyone gets what they want.

Review of College of Engineering, Pune.

Placements: The college had a very good placement office. Placements in our college were good as they always provided 100% placements. The college was always ahead in providing placements. During my tenure, around 80% of the batch was placed in just 3 days of the placement season, and it was a wonderful experience as we had options to get selected for one core company and one IT mass recruiting company.

It is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra.

Placements: Placements in our college are good except for the production, metallurgy and planning departments. Branches like instrumentation, computer science, IT and ENTC have the best placements. Placements for students of the civil department saw a good increase in the year 2018. Other departments such as electrical and mechanical have decent placements.
