Amazing placements and good campus life.

Placements: Since it being a new batch, the placements are relatively low. However they are on an increasing graph and increase every year. First batch had 14% placement whereas the last batch had a placement of 25%. Placements usually take place in mass recruitments only.

Overall college is good in many aspects. Good placement, infrastructures is not up to mark.

Placements: For Entc department, the highest package was 17 LPA which was from DE SHAW. The lowest salary is 4 LPA approximately. The average salary is 6.5 LPA approximately. In 2015-16, entc campus placement was 94.8 % (out of 77, 73 were placed through campus interview). Companies that visits COEP, ENCT are EPSON FiNlQ, Texas, and other IT companies like WIPRO lmt., Infosys, Honeywell. There is a special team or staff committee for COEP placement cell and it is efficient for the students to find good job ...

COEP -Though it is not IIT or NIT, this college is still at par to define engineering.

Placements: The placements for 2017 batch were as usual at par for branches like CS, IT, ENTC, mechanical, instrumentation, production and electrical. The students of metallurgy and civil engineering are concerned about the placements, barely 50% of the students were offered jobs in their respective engineering domains, while the chance of getting placed in IT roles was open to students of all branches. Also, if you are thinking to be at COEP, you will be offered something around 10-15 LPA then that is tru...

Absolutely Satisfied with the faculties, infrastructure and placement and internship opportunities.

There were plenty of internship opportunities too. The highest stipend was 50K per Month. There is dedicated placement cell to and it plays vital role in placement.

Very good placements, so many events are there but faculty wise, they are very poor.

Placements: As COEP is one of the oldest and renowned colleges, the placements are excellent. COEP has its placement cell. Most of the work is done by students only. We had almost 120 students in our batch. Almost 100 of them got placed, because some of them were preparing for further studies or some were having very less CGPA. The CGPA above 7.5 is good to get shortlisted in most of the companies. The companies such as Tata Motors, Eaton, Thermax, TCS, Bajaj, Mercedes, JCB, JSW, Tata technologies are some ...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty.

Placements: The placements in the college are pretty good for the computer, IT, ENTC, and electrical while for branches like planning, civil, and metallurgy have poor placements. The placements are decent for other branches. There is a placement cell as well, and the salary offered ranges from 3 to 40 LPA.

One of the best colleges in Maharashtra.

Placements: College of Engineering, Pune is known for its best placements, and thus it is true, as most of the students are getting 7-8 LPA package. The highest package is of 37 LPA. 12-14 LPA packages are also common. Most importantly, the placement rate is always within 85% to 90%, for most of the branches, and is even high for some other branches.

An awesome college which enhances the personality of students.

Placements: There are awesome placements with a good package. Mostly, the average scale of salary is 6-7 lacs for CSE students. The highest salary offered goes up to 30 lacs. Many reputed companies like Microsoft visit our college for placements. Also, the college provides internships in the third year itself.

Dissatisfied with the faculty. The placement is good because of the brand name of the college.

Placements: Almost, 40% of the students got placed, but most of them are not in the core domain. Three students got placed in TCS, 1 in parallel wireless, 1 in Infosys, and 1 in Renu electronics. Three students got the internship in Seagate HDD. The stipend offered during the internship is Rs. 30,000. There is a central placement cell in the college.

COEP guide. COEP tour. COEP facts and myths.

Placements: The placements offered are good for all the branches. There is no struggle for the placements of computer science/IT branch. Mechanical people were also placed well. The problem of placement is with civil, production and metallurgy branch. Planning has negligible placement here.

Absolute pleasant atmosphere in the campus and the classrooms too. COEP is the best.

Placements: The campus recruitments are barely seen for this branch due to the unawareness for the same. The faculty and the placement coordinators are trying their level best to lift the branch. Many of them got green signals for the non-core companies. The students are made to work as the software developers as a trainee. Some of them also work in the government departments and help in the development plan making process.

The college is good for the laboratory access.

Placements: The placements are horrendous on the campus. No core biomedical engineering company came to the campus for the placements. Some core electronics companies and many IT companies came for the placement. No student in his right mind would like to work in an IT company or firm after masters in the core.

With all its flaws, its still a very good place. I have made many good friends.

Placements: This college is known for its placements. The companies like Tata Steel, Bajaj, Infosys, Tata Motors, Microsoft, Sun pharma, etc. visit almost for every branch. Also, we are associated with various startup groups, and also, we have our own entrepreneur club. The companies also take students from second year and third year as interns and give them PPO according to their work there as an intern.
