All about College of Engineering Thalassery Kannur.
Placements: Placements are being offered by colleges to hire high-position companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, USD, etc. On the basis of academic CGPA, skill is important for even getting the chance to appear for placement. Internships are mostly done privately during the last year of B. Tech.
Infrastructure: Different blocks for different departments have been provided with the required lab facilities and the required number of faculty members. The college canteen provides breakfast (mainly for hostellers), lunch, and snacks. Availability of a doctor is made at least once a week or every two weeks without delay.
Faculty: All faculty members have completed post-graduation and are experienced. A few of them are weak in making the concept understandable to the students. The new curriculum added courses that actually need more time to study, but the university provides only limited classes.
Other: The college is located on a hilltop, away from all city disturbances, and provides a calm atmosphere. The anti-ragging cell is present, and no political issues occur. Campus life is good. The college is more nature-based in its environment.

Review of College of Engineering, Thalassery.
Placements: Placements provided in our college are very good. Most of the students get placed and few of them don't get placed but will be ready to attend interviews in the future. Staff members and placement officers always encourage students to be ready for interviews and accept any outcome. The salary package offered is 3 LPA to 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good with many good centers like a library, computer center, playground, parking space, canteen, and many more. Hostel facilities are very good. They serve very good food. The hostel building is very old and the facilities are less.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good and understanding. They take care of students but some of them are not good. The course curriculum is based on the guidelines of KTU as our college is affiliated with it. Exams are held on time and the results are published within a time limit. Evaluation of exams is not good but an average of 50% of students pass every year.

Good college to study in.
Placements: Placements in college are less and mostly seniors tend to get into the company by themselves, but Cognizant and TCS companies are the most recruiting companies. Internships are provided by the college. I think 1 Lacs per annum is the salary provided to the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good and the doctor is available on particular days in our college. Wi-Fi is present in colleges and hostels. The infrastructure of the hostel is also average and the mess and canteen are present, they are also not bad. We have a cricket court and a ground. The sports club is very active in college.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are good in our college. They are very good and also very helpful. The non-teaching staff too are good and the lab staff HOD and union members seniors there is non-rude behavior from the college faculty members during admission and after admission.
Other: We have so many fests and extracurricular activities.

Good campus life, lot of events but not so good infrastructure.
Placements: The placement is average but best in the Malabar region of Kerala according to the campus placement record of Infosys this year. 21 students got placed in Infosys this year. 9 students were placed in Quest global. 8 student placed in TCS and many are waiting for next opportunity/result. The college has a well working placement and CGPA cell.
Infrastructure: The college is provided by high-speed Wi-Fi across the campus with can be used by the students, faculty members and other staffs. College has 6 departments with provide B.Tech and 2 of them are NAAC accredited, 2 M.Tech department. The B.Tech programs offered are 1. Computer Science and Engineering 2. Information Technology 3. Electronics and Communication Engineering (NAAC accredited) 4. Electrical and Electronics Engineering 5. Mechanical Engineering (NAAC accredited) 6. Civil Engineering The college offers hostel facility for female only, some private hostels are available nearby for boys. The canteen food quality is good. The college offers the availability of a doctor on specified days. The college supports sports and arts in full form.
Faculty: The college has a good teaching atmosphere with good quality faculty members, some of the faculty members have Ph.D. and some are doing research. Faculty members are knowledgeable and free to help at any time. The college follows the course curriculum as per A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University Kerala (KTU). .
Other: I choose this college because it is near to my locality. The college offers a good startup infrastructure and the IEDC and campus communities works well here. The college conducts a lot of events such as sports, tournaments, tech and art fears etc.

I am very satisfied about my college .
Placements: The companies that came to our college are Impaqtive, UST, Qburst, Soti, 6D, and Cognizant. And there are so many companies for other departments too. But I don't know much about the company names of other departments. But there too, so many have got placed in different companies.
Infrastructure: Everything was very good. We had separate buildings for each department and an administrative block too. There was a canteen where students and teachers could order food for them. There is a big ground too. The hostel was good. There was Wi-Fi, a mess, and all.
Faculty: The teachers in our college were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum was relevant. It makes the student industry-ready. Semester exams are not that tough. If we study in the proper way, we could score high marks in exams. CS has a 90-plus pass percentage.
