Second best college under KTU.
Placements: Almost 70% students were placed in my course. The highest package was close to 9.9 LPA. The lowest package was nearly 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Oracle, Air India, Anora, TCS, etc. Nearly 10–15% students got internships overall. The companies which provided internship include Cred. The top roles offered were software developer, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: High-speed campus wi-fi is available for all students with a secure login for Ethernet access as well. Two computer labs are fully air-conditioned. One programming lab is also there. Classrooms are extremely ventilated and spacious. Campus and department libraries are available for students.
Faculty: Teachers are not so helpful in their studies. But all of them are extremely qualified. Most professors hold doctorates, M.Tech.s, etc. from IITs and NITs. The course curriculum is updated for the current year. The college provides industrial visits almost every year if students are interested. Exams are not so difficult. The pass percentage is above 95%.
Other: It is one of the most popular course currently in Kerala. It promotes booming technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machines Learning, Deep learning, etc. Cultural values are really promoted here.

This is the 2nd best government college in the state after CET .
Placements: Less than 50 percent of total students were placed in the college. The highest package is around 15 LPA and the lowest package is about 2 LPA; it depends on the company and also your grade and marks scored. So you don't need to worry that hard but you have to work so hard .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not too good or too bad; it is average. You won't get a government hostel if you are in the general category or if you have a high income so don't think about getting into a government hostel if you have to. WiFi is not available for mobile phones but it is available, which is not that good .
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they are very qualified. After writing PSA exams, they have been getting this job so the quality of the teacher is average. The course I took is not relevant for getting a suitable job as it does not make a student ready for industry selection. Semester exams are average at the college.
Other: I chose this course because I didn't get admission to any other college. The worst thing about this course is that it is a high placement job course.

Review of Government Engineering College, Thrissur.
Placements: More than 90% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 52 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Google, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, HCL, Accenture, Cognizant, etc. Every student who has no supply will get placed in top companies. The average salary package offered ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Almost 80% of students got internships at Google, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very good. Our campus is not Wi-Fi-enabled. There is a decent library in this college. The communication laboratory is not good. Hostel facilities are average. The food quality is very good. Sports and games are conducted in this college. We also have a gym facility in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. They are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Many opportunities are available in this course. Students need to learn beyond the course curriculum to get into the industry. Semester exams are not tough. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Extracurricular activities are conducted. Many clubs are available such as thinker-hub, foss-gect, oasis, etc. The best thing about this course is that we can have good exposure. Many events are conducted in our college. Moreover, many free courses are available such as web development and other booming technology. Scholarships are provided to merit students.

A college that provides good campus life, competitive students, but comparatively fewer placements.
Placements: 60–70% of students were placed, with the highest package being between 10 and 11 LPA and the lowest package being between 5 and 6 LPA. Oracle, Air India, etc. are the top recruiting companies. 20% of students got internships. The top role offered was data analyst.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, library and the labs are functioning well. Classrooms need some furnishing as well as modifications. Hostel facilities are satisfactory. Food is really good and healthy. The canteen provides good food at cheap rates. The physical education department also promotes sports and games.
Faculty: The teaching quality was not as good as expected. There are few teachers who are helpful and knowledgeable. But a majority of teachers aren't providing a good teaching method. The course curriculum is quite relevant, but it still has to improve. Semester exams are medium-level. Pass percentage is about 90–95%.
Other: This course is demanding, and since the course upskills me, I will always be happy with it. I wish to improve the extracurricular activities and mentorship. Events and fests are as good as expected.
