Being the first engineering college, CET has a well-established infrastructure and the best faculty.

Placements: When we consider the overall placement, the placements in CET are comparable to NIT Calicut placements. Even though majority of people are placed in the IT sector than their core field. But people placed in the core field usually get a super dream package. Coming to industrial engineering, we can say it has cent per cent placed (only those who are having back papers are not placed). Here also, most of the people are forced to go for the IT sector. However, there are a few companies that are from...

This is one of the best engineering colleges in the nation.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is one of the best in the state which can compete with IITs and NITs. Our seniors' placement percentage was almost 100 percent with many of them having received more than 3 job offers. Till date, the highest offer is from Adobe and is worth 4 million CTC. The lowest is about 300 thousand. Adobe, SAP, Amazon, GE Digital, Bosch, Siemens, HPE, Tata Communications, Oracle, Service Now, etc. have already visited the college. Most of them offered software developer po...

It is the best college in Kerala with good placements in 2017.

Placements: The college of engineering, Trivandrum is one of the top engineering colleges in Kerala. The career and placement unit of college is a voluntary organization headed by the student representatives from every department. The CGPU is doing well, and the total number of placement opportunities for civil engineering department was like 120 for 180, but it is a fact that most of them are IT based jobs to get into core companies, you should flow with the time. The college has everything that will mould...

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements were decent, and everyone was placed. The highest salary offered was 8.5 lacs per annum, the lowest was 2.9 lacs per annum. The average was around 3.5 lacs per annum. We don't have an internship. The companies like Microsoft, Oracle, L&T, TCS, Accenture, etc. visited, and most of the roles were in Information Technology domain. There were companies in other domains too, such as construction, mechanical, electronics, etc.

Satisfied because of excellent faculty and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements were low for M.Tech students. Core companies were few. A few students got placed in IT companies and very few got in core companies. Placements for B.Tech students were far better. Though, this college has the best placement among government colleges in Kerala.

The college has the best ROI in India.

Placements: The placements for our batch were great, especially for the computer science department. If we include the mass recruiters, almost all the students in the batch were placed. The highest stipend was Rs. 22 lpa offered by Amazon, the lowest was Rs. 3.5 lpa offered by TCS, Cognizant and Wipro.

Placements: CET has maintained a good placement record over the years. Unique in every way. Would transform you into a personality.

Placements: The placements offered are good enough. For our batch, the best placement offered with a package of Rs. 16 LPA. For our junior batch, the best placement offered with a package was of Rs. 39 LPA. An average student would get good placements. And even if you scrape in through your academic papers you would get into an IT firm.

A beautiful campus with a highly competitive environment and plethora of young and brilliant minds.

Placements: The placements were not as good as I expected. The head of the placement department came up with some weird rules which limited the number of companies that a student could sit for. Also, many students were unable to sit for multiple companies due to the no back paper policy which was put forward by the placement department but not the companies themselves. But still, placements are much better than what happens in other engineering colleges in Kerala. Even though IT companies like Infosys and T...

One of the best colleges in Kerala.

Placements: The placement record of this college is pretty good. But the number of core companies are comparatively less. For electrical engineering, some of the core companies which came for placement last year was Siemens, Bosch etc. There are a number of IT companies, so if you are an average student and have a good verbal communication skill, you will get at least a placement in the IT sector. It is hard to get a placement in a core company.

Last year, above 1000 students got jobs in many companies like Accenture, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Ebay, etc. But majority are service based companies. Placements: No dedicated support from staff except one or two who share some placement offers. Somehow, we tried ourselves and got a job. The college has mentioned our details and companies which we were working on as if they have provided placements, taking the credit for all the effort put by students to get a job for himself.
