I am not completely dissatisfied with this college. It has its own vibe.
Placements: About 20-30 percent of students get placement here. On average, 25,000 is the average package offered. Students from every branch got placement here. Usually, students go for paid internships here. No student got an internship in a good company. The placement opportunities are not that much.
Infrastructure: Every classroom has a projector. Every department has its own Wi-Fi. There is also common Wi-Fi which is available to everyone. There are workshops and labs. Everything is good. They have better facilities. The library is a better one. There is a wide range of books for all branches. There is also a digital library.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They are very supportive. But they lack industry exposure. They give theoretical knowledge. We have to develop practical knowledge. Students need to put extra effort into their skills. Semesters are not that tough. They can be passed easily and scored well with a bit more effort.
Other: There is a tech fest or arts fest every year. The tech fest is called Quasso Liberum. Scholarships like Egrantz, and Cape scholarships are available.

Review of College of Engineering Vadakara.
Placements: CEV offers great placements. About 70% of students get placed. The salary package offered is around 4 LPA - 10L PA. It invites reputed companies and organizes campus placements. Top recruiting companies for placements are TCS, Qburst, Mitsogo, etc.
Infrastructure: This college provides great facilities and infrastructure on the campus. Wi-Fi, labs, and libraries are working properly. The hostel service is provided by the college with spacious rooms, a mess, and halls. Our canteen and cafeteria are working properly. Medical services are available. Sports and arts are very much encouraged here.
Faculty: Faculty members at CEV are well-qualified and friendly to everyone. The quality of the teaching is very high because every faculty is well-educated and has many years of experience. Exams are conducted semester-wise by following the KTU syllabus.

    Nice college with pleasant vibe.
Placements: Poor placement with below-average LPA. Many students get placed, but the annual income is very poor. Mainly, the majority of the students get placements in many companies, but the majority LPA is less than 8lcs. However, some students get good packages with higher LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is very poor, but the ambiance and vibe with friends give so many memories. The faculty in charge of the hostel is also very nice and friendly, but the main problem is the mess food; it is very poor. The curries are like flowing water, but the atmosphere is very nice.
Faculty: Teachers are very nice; the majority of them are youngsters with a friendly vibe. The college atmosphere is very cool and chill, but the exams are very tough. If you have a chance to get admission in another university, then go and take admission in that university; don't get trapped in KTU.

College of Engineering, good campus with average infrastructure, friendly teachers, and students.
Placements: 60% students placed in the placement, and the highest package was 5 LPA, the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average was 3 LPA. One of the top recruiting companies was TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. No students got internship opportunities. The top roles offered were Junior Software Engineer and Business Analyst.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, labs are well-equipped, classrooms are well-maintained and have facilities like projectors. The library is well-managed under a team. The quality of hostel facilities is a bit low. Mess food is quite okay, not impressive. There is a medical facility every week. Sports and games are very active in college.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is also quite good. The course curriculum won't help with the career much; it won't make them industry-ready. Exams are quite tough but can be passed with regular revisions, and the pass percentage is 70.
Other: I chose this course because I liked Computer Science and coding. The syllabus should be improved to the level that students are industry-ready. Events and fests happen twice or thrice a year. Scholarships are provided. The college is also engaged in extracurricular activities.

    Average college with positive vibes.
Placements: The college offers many placement opportunities. 80 percent of students get placement every year. Many top companies come for placement recruitment. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc. are the top recruiters. In some companies, the average package is 7 LPA; many students got higher packages as well.
Infrastructure: The college provides the best hostel for students; it is worth the money, and the hostel food is pretty good compared to other hostel food but sometimes many problems are raised by students about food. The hostel life is amazing and gives so many memories; the vibe is different.
Faculty: The course is simple if you have basic knowledge about computer programming. The teachers are very supportive and very friendly but they are very scary in exam halls. Some teachers do not know what they are teaching; some teachers teach very well.

    College of Engineering Vadakara.
Placements: 30 percent of students have been placed in high-level companies, especially TVS, TCS, and electronics-related companies. The lowest package was 15000 per month, and the highest package was 25000 per month. The roles offered to them are electronics and communication related, robotics, IoT, and sales, etc.
Infrastructure: Free unlimited Wi-Fi campus, good lab facilities, and good lab assistance. Every time we can use the lab, digital classroom with fully functioning light and fan, big library with lots of books, hostel facilities are provided by the college, and the food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and we can ask anything to them. They are too friendly to us. Teachers are well-qualified professionals with outstanding knowledge. The course curriculum is well-relevant and easily understandable to all. It makes students industry-ready but needs to improve. Semesters are not difficult. If we study hard, we can get it. The pass percentage is 40 with an internal of 35.
Other: I like to study about electronics; that's why I chose the course. It teaches us good knowledge about technology. Practical needs to be improved more than theory. Events are there, campus crowd is there, good connectivity, good surrounding of the campus. Scholarships are provided, and extracurricular activities are there.
