The library has multiple copies of more than 5000 titles of core subjects in forestry are available. These are cataloged both alphabetically and subject wise. Reprographic facilities and computer terminals with internet connectivity are available in the library. The library has a separate civil service exam corner and a collection of bound volumes of all previous question papers of university examinations. Library follows an open access system where each student can come and browse through numerous titles available at his own pace and pleasure.

Hostel accommodation with mess facilities is provided for boys and girls. Periyar, the boy's hostel, has a good reading room and indoor game facilities. The girl students reside in ladies hostel (Pampa) of the College of Horticulture within the main campus. A separate ladies Hostel (Nila) near the College is provided for the PG students.
