I am thoroughly dissatisfied with the course due to the inflexible faculty.
Placements: Only one percent of students are placed, with salaries ranging from 2-4 lakhs per annum. Local companies are the only ones recruiting, typically just one or two. Most students opt for roles such as marketing personnel or sales agents, while some pursue M.Sc. degrees elsewhere. Wealthier students choose to study abroad, while those from middle-class backgrounds remain here. Please consider joining this college; I am a final-year student writing this review.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi, nice classrooms, and a well-equipped library are positives. However, the food quality is subpar, and the sports facilities are average. Hostel cleanliness is lacking, and there are insects known as acid bugs that spray acid, causing discomfort. I advise against staying in the college hostel to avoid these issues.
Faculty: Professors are rigid, and practical learning opportunities are scarce. Students fail to gain practical knowledge, as professors neglect to teach them essential life skills relevant to the course. This course leaves students confused about their future prospects, so it's best to avoid it.
Other: My brother pressured me into joining this college, expecting it to provide practical learning opportunities for students.

I am absolutely satisfied with our college faculty, placements, and the landscaping of our campus.
Placements: Nearly 70% of students secure jobs in Horticulture, Veterinary Health Assistant (VHA), and various other sectors. Approximately 50% of students find employment in private SEED sectors and other assigned companies, offering a minimum of 10 lakh per annum upon joining private and government agencies. Many companies express interest in hiring students from our horticulture program.
Infrastructure: Our college boasts facilities like Wi-Fi, central libraries, spacious classrooms, and a large, beautiful library. The campus is aesthetically pleasing, and the mess food is delectable. Every week, a doctor visits the hostel for health checkups, and there are numerous games available for us to play.
Faculty: The teachers are friendly and adept at delivering content in an easy-to-understand manner. Their teaching methods contribute significantly to our success in securing placements. While the semester exams are challenging, our teachers explain the material in a very accessible way, enabling us to achieve an 80% OGPA.
Other: I chose this course due to the potential increase in demand for it in the future. Our college hosts various fests, events, and extracurricular activities.

Think wisely before you choose.
Placements: Firstly, there are no placements in our college, but we can apply our resumes to any SEED testing companies, pesticide factories, or land scaping. Our seniors got selected at the Indian Agriculture Research Institute and some other research institutes for post-graduation.
Infrastructure: In college, there is Wi-Fi for research work and classrooms are comfortable with chairs and curtains, a nice place for peaceful learning. The library is peaceful for studying, with comfortable chairs and different journals and related books.
Faculty: All our teachers are qualified with PhDs, and they explain every topic clearly. There are associate professors, assistant professors, and many non-teaching staff. Semesters were conducted once every 6 months but in between there would be midterm and quiz exams. The pass percentage was about 98%.

Absolutely dissatisfied about funds not getting released.
Placements: No student was placed in our college. No placements are offered. No company had arrived. A few percent of students are getting internships. No jobs are there after this course in college but we came to know that there will be jobs in SEED and fertilizer companies.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is excellent, and Wi-Fi is available in our college. In our classrooms, there will be a projector, good faculty will teach us, and labs, canteen and libraries are also available. The hostel is good, Wi-Fi is available and the food is sometimes good. Doctors will come every week; medical facilities are there; there is an excellent sports complex; and equipment is there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful for us; they are qualified as Ph.D.s (in entomology, pathology, fruit science, vegetable science, etc.). This course explains some of the things that will make the students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 50 percent; it is a little difficult for a few subjects.
Other: I love plants; that's why I chose this course. We can learn practically in fields in college. Funds were not provided on time for the student cultural and sports meet or the freshers party. The surroundings were very neat.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of lack of placements.
Placements: We don't have any placements in our college but we have enough knowledge to get jobs outside. We will get jobs in the fertilizer industry, SEED companies, Cadbury companies and many more. Even though we will get jobs, the salary will be very low, like 2 lacs per year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good. The hostel was very nice but Wi-Fi was not provided in our hostel. The quality of the food is okay; sometimes it will be good and sometimes it will be bad. When it comes to games and sports, the college will conduct a sports meet where various horticulture colleges will come and participate.
Faculty: The faculty is very good and some of the teachers will teach us out of the book to get more knowledge beyond the teaching. We will also have practical work, which will improve our skills. Semester exams are not that difficult if we study; otherwise, they will be difficult.
Other: I don't have other options, so I chose this course I wish to give more placements to our course because the government is not bothering about it and we are not getting good jobs in the government sector. The government will provide a scholarship, which is not sufficient to pay the college fee.

Good faculty with nice infrastructure.
Placements: To be honest, there are no placements on campus. But you will get enough experience from the course to get a job. One can gain knowledge so that they can grab the opportunity to get a job. And you can also pursue masters in certain departments. And it can also be planned for other competitive exams.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped. Every lab has enough resources. Classrooms are quite good. The infrastructure facilities are quite good. The library is available with books, articles and newspapers. A digital library is also available. Hostel facilities are average. Mess food is not that bad. A gym is available. The doctor is available once a week. One canteen is available in the college.
Faculty: Professors are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is quite good. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams (quiz, mid-semester exams, practical and final semester exams) are not very difficult as far as horticulture is concerned. The pass percentage is above 90%.
Other: Events like Freshers Day, College Day, and inter-college sports events are conducted annually. And certain events under the NSS are also conducted.
