In this college, a lot can be improved in infrastructures as well as fests or events.
Placements: Our batch got graduated during COVID. No placements took place for 2 years. However, even before that, there was no placement for Journalism students except for basic roles like content writing. Apart from that, the college only witnessed average companies despite having a good reputation.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel available for students. Students reside in PGs located nearby. No Wi-Fi access for students and no media labs are accessible to students. Journalism students are taught only theories. The library is decent. The classrooms can be improved but even some fans don't work properly. The washroom can be improved too. But it lacks cleanliness and water supply. Medical facilities and sports rooms are okay, never really explored them much. The canteen is okay too. The rates and food quality is fine. However, the vendor keeps on changing.
Faculty: The teachers are great though exceptions are everywhere, they are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. Journalism's syllabus should be more practical than theoretical for the holistic skill development of aspiring journalists. This would help students be industry ready after they pass out. The college needs to provide media lab access to the students. Semester exams are good, and easy to pass if one studies sincerely even for a month before exams. The passing rules and exam patterns are the same as the overall DU structure.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to continue my passion for writing and now I'm happily working as a freelance content writer. More practical experience would have been better and regular classes by teachers. No major scholarships, campus activities, or extracurricular activities are there. The campus crowd is good and the fests and events are average but can be improved a lot.

I am dissatisfied because of infrastructure and less practical learning, but teachers are amazing.
Placements: Almost 30% of the students got placed in our course. Recruitment from multinational companies and other media houses is average. Almost 80% of the students got internships from the placement cell of the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of DCAC is poor. The college premise is small as compared to other colleges of DU. There are no Wi-Fi and lab facilities, but there is a huge library. Canteen has average food quality and taste, but the canteen has enough space for sitting. There is a small playground area along with a good basketball court.
Faculty: Teachers in DCAC are friendly and professional simultaneously. Teachers have more than 10 years of experience in the field. They provide notes for the lectures regularly and do not hesitate to clear the doubts. The curriculum is somewhat average. According to the studies, I think they provide their best to make students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen journalism as I was interested in writing and journalism. The best thing about the course is that it requires lots of critical thinking, so your mind doesn't sit idle. I think the teaching method could be improved a little, and it is necessary to balance out practical and theoretical knowledge both to give learning exposure to students.

I am dissatisfied because of placements.
Placements: Only 10% of the students got placed through college placement cell. The highest salary package offered is 2.78 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2.16 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. None of the reputed media brands visited our campus for recruitment that year. Content writer and business development manager were the top roles offered to students. Almost 70% of students got internships in brands like The Hindu, Times of India, The Statesman, NDTV, ZeeTV, and Femina India.
Infrastructure: Media lab was supposed to get operational by the end of the first semester, but it was inaugurated in the final semester. There was no Wi-Fi in the college for students. The library is equipped with a collection of all the contemporary books and thesis. There was no hostel facility provided by the college. The food served in the canteen was quite decent at a reasonable price.
Faculty: Visiting faculty members were top-notch and delivered great sessions every time. They possess the right knowledge and guided us well. The course curriculum wasn't designed as per the latest industry trends. There were not many workshops included for practical experience. The course should include more workshops on photography.

A great life at Delhi College of Arts and Commerce.
Placements: There's an active placement cell at DCAC which is working hard towards placing its students in relevant organisations and also giving them an opportunity to intern with certain great organisations like Times of India, NDTV and more.
Infrastructure: The college campus is a great place to be at, with lush greenery in the college ground and garden. It is a Wi-Fi enabled campus with a different password for every student. Journalism Department has its own media lab. The college is also equipped with a medical room, girls' common room, and also the recently opened gym.
Faculty: The faculty at journalism department is extremely amazing and helpful. Not only in the field of their expertise do they guide the students but also in various other ways. The course curriculum focuses on basics, theories, and practicals together to provide the students with a great experience in the field.

If the choice of college is not restricted there is a chance you will get admission. You have to have patience till the 3rd or 4th cut off list. So please reconsider other colleges as well.
