Placements: The placement cell is active in our college. The average package lies between 3-3.5 LPA. The big 4 firms namely E&Y, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG are the prominent recruiters. The highest package for the last batch was around 15 LPA. Almost, 40% of the batch(commerce department) got placed. Overall, the college provides the good placement opportunities.
Placements: Being in the 1st year, I have less idea of placements and internship opportunities that students get from the college. After speaking to some of my seniors and professors, I have grasped some general idea about them. Companies including KPMG, E&Y, CEAT recruit third-year students every year. The college has an active placement cell 'Broadway' which is doing a great job currently. Some valuable internships are known to us through the placement cell itself. Mostly, students don't get a stipend, bu...
Placements: Placement Cell of DCAC is quite effective. A lot of companies visit the campus every year. It makes sure maximum number of students are placed. This year the highest package a company has offered is 5 Lacs pa. Basically audit, operations, finance and marketing job is offered.
Placements: Well, there are a lot many placement cells hiring approximately 30% of the capable candidates. The big 4 are one of the main recruiters which include KPMG at the top. The offered salaries are starting from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 60,000 at max. A student can get a good placement if he/she is a part of any society or has any valuable work experience with a minimum of 6 SGPA.
Placements: The placement cell provides various opportunities to the students. It includes various internship programmes and job offers in the prestigious organisations. Enactus society of college provides these opportunities related to career. It is really helpful for career guidance.
Placements: The placement cell of DCAC, from what I have seen is not what it once was. Though students do get placed via campus recruitment, preference is given to students who are a part of the placement cell. The companies that come for recruitment are not the ones they promise. DCAC may have got Google to come in for recruitment at one time, but in the three years I have been here, the only big companies I have seen is KPMG and E&Y. Their packages are the same as offered in Motilal Nehru College and Ram ...
Placements: Delhi College of Arts and Commerce is the prestigious institution of the University of Delhi situated in Netaji Nagar, south campus. The placement of this college is good. Every year, approximately, 70% of the students got placed. The criteria for the students to apply any company is above 60%.
Placements: Broadway, the placement cell of the college works hard to ensure the best placements and internships to the students. Various reputed companies such as E&Y, KPMG, PWC, ALARM India, Genpact, etc., come to the campus offering jobs and internships. The average package stays at around 3.5 to 4 lacs per annum. Whereas, the average stipend stays at around Rs. 7000- Rs. 8000 per month. The best part is that these opportunities are available to the students throughout the year. ...
Placements: The placement department is very good at this college. It conducts various placements sessions for students of all courses. Many big multinational companies come here for the recruitment. The highest and the lowest salary package vary from 3.5L -2L annually. But, the average salary package comes out to be 2.4Lakhs. There is a great scope for the commerce students to get a decent pay offer and an amazing job experience.
Placements: The college placement cells bring you the opportunities for internships and placements. The big 4 companies of commerce come in the 5th semester and while other companies come in the winter session. Not all the students get the placement, but around 25-30% manage to get placement from the college.
Placements: The placements of our college are very good. I have heard it from my seniors as well as I have seen it on many websites. The companies like KPMG, Mahindra, Zee etc. come to our college. Most importantly, placement is given to the one whose personality is good. Being a topper doesn't mean that you will be placed easily. In my senior's case, she got placed in a good company, and she used to get around 55-60%. Her interview was good, and she was able to impress the panel, so she got placed.
Placements: DCAC provides an amazing platform for the students where they could get their dream jobs. The companies like EY, KPMG, NIIT, Urbanclap, Axis risk consultancy, etc. visit the campus every year to recruit students for the post of Audit Associate, Content writers etc., and there are also many off-campus recruitments for companies like Willis Tower Watson and PWC actuarial services. In my batch, around 80 students have been placed till now, and the highest package was offered by Willis Tower Watson(...
Placements: The placement cell of DCAC works with the aim of providing a strong interlink between the corporate sector and the academics. It is a common platform for the companies where their recruitment hunt for young talent ends and the students’ aspiration of dream jobs are met. It works as a career guidance unit as well as placement service provider for the students of the college. Team BROADWAY is a combination of experienced teachers and young minds who are representatives of various departments. The...
Placements: Placements are really good for B.Com. Many people wanted to go for higher education and thus, didn't sit for final placements. Rest all those who were willing to work, ended up with a job. 70-80 students got placed in the big 4 auditing firms (only EY and KPMG comes on campus). The placement cell worked hard to get the good brands on the campus. The highest salary - 5 lakhs per annum. The median salary - 3 lakhs per annum. The lowest salary - 2.2 lakhs per annum. Companies on the campus - Erne...
Placements: Placement offers given to the students in my batch were really good. From what I heard through the placement cell and juniors, the trend continues today as you read this. One of the major recruiters is KPMG. I have work experience in audit (Australian division) which I got through the placement.
Placements: The name of the placement cell is Broadway. It is very active and it invites various companies for every department for B.Com Hons, BCom, English Hons, History Hons, Political Hons, etc. For B.Com Hons, it invites companies like KPMG, E&Y and KPMG Global. 80-100 students get placed through this cell.
Placements: Placement cell is really good. It is well-organized and well-managed. Various reputed companies like KPMG, Ernst and Young, Axis come to hire from DCAC. The placement network is really good. Many of my friends got into E&Y and KPMG through college placement only.
Placements: Placements for commerce courses are really good. Approximately 70 percent students were placed. An average package of 2,50,008 - 3,00,000 was offered. Companies like Ernst & Young, KPMG came for the placements. Financial roles were offered to the students. Not a lot of companies came for internships.
Placements: There's an active placement cell at DCAC which is working hard towards placing its students in relevant organisations and also giving them an opportunity to intern with certain great organisations like Times of India, NDTV and more.
Placements: Every year, the placement session held is good and now even getting better as many companies are approaching our college. The only problem, the student, gets the low salary package. I wish that next time more companies will approach and give more opportunity to the college students so that we can plan something strong and meaningful of our careers and fly high and achieve whatever we can.
