Placements: The college placement cells bring you the opportunities for internships and placements. The big 4 companies of commerce come in the 5th semester and while other companies come in the winter session. Not all the students get the placement, but around 25-30% manage to get placement from the college.
Placements: The placements of our college are very good. I have heard it from my seniors as well as I have seen it on many websites. The companies like KPMG, Mahindra, Zee etc. come to our college. Most importantly, placement is given to the one whose personality is good. Being a topper doesn't mean that you will be placed easily. In my senior's case, she got placed in a good company, and she used to get around 55-60%. Her interview was good, and she was able to impress the panel, so she got placed.
Placements: DCAC provides an amazing platform for the students where they could get their dream jobs. The companies like EY, KPMG, NIIT, Urbanclap, Axis risk consultancy, etc. visit the campus every year to recruit students for the post of Audit Associate, Content writers etc., and there are also many off-campus recruitments for companies like Willis Tower Watson and PWC actuarial services. In my batch, around 80 students have been placed till now, and the highest package was offered by Willis Tower Watson(...
Placements: The placement cell of DCAC works with the aim of providing a strong interlink between the corporate sector and the academics. It is a common platform for the companies where their recruitment hunt for young talent ends and the students’ aspiration of dream jobs are met. It works as a career guidance unit as well as placement service provider for the students of the college. Team BROADWAY is a combination of experienced teachers and young minds who are representatives of various departments. The...
Placements: Placements are really good for B.Com. Many people wanted to go for higher education and thus, didn't sit for final placements. Rest all those who were willing to work, ended up with a job. 70-80 students got placed in the big 4 auditing firms (only EY and KPMG comes on campus). The placement cell worked hard to get the good brands on the campus. The highest salary - 5 lakhs per annum. The median salary - 3 lakhs per annum. The lowest salary - 2.2 lakhs per annum. Companies on the campus - Erne...
Placements: The name of the placement cell is Broadway. It is very active and it invites various companies for every department for B.Com Hons, BCom, English Hons, History Hons, Political Hons, etc. For B.Com Hons, it invites companies like KPMG, E&Y and KPMG Global. 80-100 students get placed through this cell.
Placements: Placements for commerce courses are really good. Approximately 70 percent students were placed. An average package of 2,50,008 - 3,00,000 was offered. Companies like Ernst & Young, KPMG came for the placements. Financial roles were offered to the students. Not a lot of companies came for internships.
Placements: Every year, the placement session held is good and now even getting better as many companies are approaching our college. The only problem, the student, gets the low salary package. I wish that next time more companies will approach and give more opportunity to the college students so that we can plan something strong and meaningful of our careers and fly high and achieve whatever we can.
Placements: Placements are done by many companies and they always look for the best student. The companies take interviews and give internships to the students. Companies like Tata, Wipro etc comes our college for finding the talented students. Placements are not so easy for the students because there is less demand and more supply of the job positions.
Placements: The placements in our college are not that good, with most people not getting placed. The average package is usually around 3-4 lakhs per annum. Most of the students in my course usually concentrate on doing CA. The placement cell is not efficient and effective.
College is exemplified with fresh skills and talents who are ready to deliver their enthusiastic talents at their workplace. Apart from the college canteen and a crowd like Miranda, everything is good. The college provides us with great career planning options too. They use to provide counseling on job opportunities and further higher studies. Our professors are quite learned and also extend possible help from their side to the students.
The college has some of the best faculty members in DU. The crowd is amazing and since the college is still in the developing phase, the infrastructure is still not up to the mark. Big four Accounting firms come for placements along with many other well-established companies. The college doesn't come under DUSU, so the elections are also held properly without any nuisance. Eating joints nearby are okay, and not that great. And finally, they charge a meager fee as the college is run by the gov...
DCAC is among the top ten colleges of Delhi University in Commerce and was the first college to introduce Mass Communication in its curriculum. Known for its crowd, the college has a smaller campus as compared to other university colleges. Hangout spot is Sarojini Nagar market which is at a 15 minutes walking distance from the college. The nearest metro station is INA on the yellow line of Delhi Metro and the landmark is Leela Hotel.
The college is good, but it is not very happening. There is no excitement at all. It is at a remote location. The professors are good, but the infrastructure is very poor. There is no water cooler, no gym, very poor facilities for sports, slow fans, no smart classes, and the ground is in a very poor condition. The fresher's party was very bad. The students are nice and friendly. A mini market is present nearby, which is good for quick snacks. Course-wise, it is a good college. Attendance is no...
Placements: The placements offered are mainly for commerce or economics students. Very few students from B.A. courses sit for placements. Top recruiting companies are KPMG, Deloitte, Ernst and Young and Hindustan Times. The highest package offered was of 6 to 7 LPA.
Placements: Since I am a 1st-year student, I can speak about the internships and not the placements. Many companies came to our college for summer internships, and many students got selected too. Packages are not too high as per data, but yes, many students still take college placements.
Placements: During my time cutoff for DCAC went to 95.5% top recruiting companies was KPMG and EY. Top roles offered was B.Com and B.A. hons economics the highest package offered as 6 Lacs p a the lowest package was 3.3 Lacs pa a small percentage of student got internship from college students try more from off campus through platform like linkedin .
Placements: 1) To be honest, the placement record of our college is slightly better than that of other colleges. Most of the students who meet the company's criteria get placed, and the placement percentage will be around 30-35 percent. 2) The highest package for my course is 6.2 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the median package was 4.5 LPA per annum (as per the placement committee's record). 3) Not all MNCs are coming to the campus, but yes, mid-tech companies are coming. 4) As for internships, PreGrad, Up...
Placements: Around 20% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Around 2-3 companies visit our college to recruit students. Around 30% of students got internships.
Placements: A good percentage of students get placed in our college. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Our college doesn't help students to get high-profile jobs. Students have to pursue master's degrees to get placements with high salary packages. MNCs visit our college to recruit students.
