Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Satisfied with faculty, good placements in 2021, really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: There were 10-15 students placed from my batch. The highest package was 7LPA, average one is 4 LPA and the lowest package was 3 LPA. The recruiting companies were Birlasoft, Capgemini and TCS etc.19% of students got internships from my course in different companies.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available for entire college. Classrooms are good and has massive library. I was living with family so I don't know about hostel but from outside, it was good and my friend told me that food is good in mess and canteen. Medical facilities are also available in the college.
Faculty: The faculty was helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good, not excellent. The course curriculum is relevant that makes the students ready for the industry. The semester exams were medium not too hard to solve. The pass percentage of my batch was 80%.

Don't waste your money and time. Trust me, you can get another good college to build your future.
Placements: Surely, there is a placement cell in this college and I was one of the cell members. Poor placements. Though being first class holders, we were not allowed to appear for the job fair week held during Dec'16, the only week when companies arrived and recruited. We were told to appear the drives held in DYPCOE-Akurdi so that the second class holders might get a job. But no one was actually placed during the drives. Only 2 students got a fair job, that too from DYPCOE-Akurdi. Poor ROI.
Infrastructure: The campus is fair. The surroundings are good enough. It has a cricket stadium, good greenery around the college buildings. Don't expect Wi-Fi facility at every floor here. Classrooms are big enough, only at the top floors they leak during rains! Labs are fair. It has a good library. You'll get the required reference books for your textbooks. No sports for girls. Boys play cricket, and basketball sometimes. Hostel rooms are fair, but don't expect good food at hostel. The college has a good canteen.
Faculty: Teaching quality is less than fair. The teachers were less helpful and more annoying. Experienced this many times. If you are an active student participating in extra-curricular activities, you won't be spared during the submissions and viva, just because of your comparatively low attendance. And though you are good in academics and exams, you will be given less internal marks, which will directly affect only on your final result. Additionally, teachers are sort of unfair and they show favouritism. Excluding few good teachers, most of the staff is as mentioned. Other than this, there was unnecessary fine collection in the name of attendance and submissions. The ratio of student to staff is 60:1 approximately. To talk about industry exposure, we had some guest lectures on emerging trends in the industry. We had SCOUT programme and other workshops. Moreover, the office staff is rude and unhelpful. They can trouble you during preparation leave and exams too.
Other: Cultural events and annual day is held. Cricket tournament is held. You'll find half of campus crowd is localites and dominating; kind of "dadagiri". We had NSS and BSW. Students can gain benefits from "work and earn" facility. Many events and campaigns were organised by our NSS team. Scholarships are provided as per the University norms.

The college is good, but it has some bad ones like medical care and swimming pool.
Placements: Around 72-85% students got placed in core branches. 82% got placed in the non-core companies. The companies like Accenture, ITC, Barclays, Infosys, etc., usually visit the college. The placement of this college is not so much high but effectively normal. If you belong to IT sector, then you will get the maximum package is all about 60-70k per month, and normally 35-50k per month.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are very wide and non A/C. We have the big projector in the center of the class so that we can see the text even from a distance. We have no medical support in the college, but the college has some medical staff in any emergency cases. When it comes to sports, we have the big playground on the college campus. We haven't any swimming pool in the college. We have some indoor activities for the students as basketball and badminton courts. In the whole campus, the college provides Wi-Fi facilities for the students and staff.
Faculty: The faculty is not so much high but effectively normal. They all have high-quality qualifications. They're very helpful for the students in any project or activity. The faculty to students ratio in 1st year is 1:65 and second is 1:60 which is more helpful for anybody.

It provides good teachers and infrastructure, but it should provide Wi-Fi facilities to students.
Placements: Around 60% of students were placed in our senior batch, and around 65% of students were placed in our batch. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 2.2 LPA. The roles offer were like software developer and business development. Our college doesn't provide internships. There was a placements cell in our college, and it was useful only to the students who maintain a good relationship with TPO.
Infrastructure: In this college, laboratories, classrooms, library, and sports facilities were available on the campus. The quality of the laboratory and classrooms were good. Food served in canteen was average. Hostel rooms provided were good and 3 students stay in 1 room, and each of them was provided with a single bed and a table. College was located far from the main city so traveling was an issue.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful in solving any doubts related to their subject. Teaching quality was average, and the mixture of experienced teachers as well as newly joined teachers. Students were provided industrial exposure by conducting guest lectures and industrial visits.

TOTALLY DISSATISFIED. Don't join this college. TRUST ME, you'll get a better college than this.
Placements: Very few companies/startups attend here. Only 2 toppers got placed, that too via DYPA kurdi. Rest all passed out jobless. My result was First Class With other First-class holders, I was (forcefully) sent to DYP Akurdi for attending campus drives. So that 2nd class holders may get job opportunity from this college. Poor placements.
Infrastructure: Campus is fair, in the calm lap of nature. It has good cricket ground, and cafeteria, good library, reading hall, etc. Wi-Fi connectivity wasn't available for us. Cafeteria has good food, but hostel food will make you sick. Hostel rooms are fair, 5-7 people in one big room. Classrooms at topmost floor leaked during rains. Labs are fairly okay. No sports for girls.
Faculty: No industry exposure. Guest lectures were held during final year, but not too helpful for us. Faculty is the worst. They aren't helpful or supporting and understanding at all. Syllabus was either left incomplete or completed forcefully and rapidly, almost during all semesters. Faculty will never encourage you for extracurricular activities. If you actively participate, your attendance will gradually affect. And this won't be tolerated by the faculty here. And ultimately your internal assessment will be affected largely. Even I got less internal marks just because of my participation in extracurricular activities. And that affected my average during my important final year. Additionally, the office staff too, is very rude and unhelpful. You won't be spared during your exam days too.
Other: Cultural event, cricket tournament, and other Fests/Days are celebrated. I was a part of NSS and NSS Camp is held every year, which was attended by me once. Our sir (faculty)who co-ordinated NSS was very helpful and encouraging. Campus crowd is filled with hooligans. Local guys dominate the campus.
