Overall, my experience at the college from education perspective is excellent.

Placements: The college has an 85% placement rate. The major companies visiting the college for our department are Haritha Tech, Bosch, Roots Industry, Caresoft Global, TVS and other companies like Zoho, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro and many more. But the students who have 8.5 and above CGPA get placed every year, not the average students. The highest salary package offered was 5 lacs per annum in IT sectors, and the minimum is Rs. 15,000 in mechanical companies.

It is a good college to study and experience life.

Placements: The placements in our college are good. Many core companies visit the campus to offer placements. The placement percentage id 90%. The placement training is provided to the students. Highly-qualified faculty train us in aptitude. Many of our seniors got placed in good core companies.

Review of Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: The placements are very poor for core departments like civil, mechanical, automotive, and electrical. The placements for other departments like information technology, computer science, electronics and communication engineering are average. Infosys, Polaris, TVS, etc., visit the college to offers placements.

I'm satisfied with the career guidance provided by some staff members.

Placements: A good number of students got placed till 2016 batch, but in the last two years, the placements were not up to the mark. The placements are good for the students of IT department until now, but the placements are not good for core branches.

Really good infrastructure, facilities and placements.

Placements: Every year, pre-final year students attend the campus interviews in our college in their 6th semester. Students get placement training second year onwards, and 3 or 4 classes are conducted weekly. At every semester end, students are recommended to go for in-plant training and industrial visit.

This is a great place to grow our knowledge with good faculty members and facilities.

Placements: Dr MCET is good for placements, and they have a placement cell in the college. At the end of the third year, they provide training regarding placements, and many companies like Infosys, NTT data, Clorida, Ionix, Ardhika, Vuram, Vanam technology, and many companies have visited our campus and recruited many students. The highest salary package per annum is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 1.5 lacs per annum. Major companies offered roles of system engineer, web developer, content writer,...

A college with really great infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are good. Above 90% of the eligible students get placed in many reputed companies. Infosys was the main recruiter of this college with Soliton, and Tech Mahindra are few other topnotch companies. They provide good training regarding placements with leading experts.

A good college for a learning student.

Placements: Only 2-4 companies visit for the core. Rest all are IT, marketing and BPO companies. It is a good college with good fame and excellent lab and advanced technology but lacks more core placement. One can expect Infosys, NTT Data, Amazon, Decathlon, HaritaTechServ on campus and Range Breaks, and few other tier-2,3 companies in the manufacturing sector on/off campus.

Placements: The placements are good for the circuit branches CSE, IT, EEE & ECE whereas for automobile and mechanical department it is average. Lots of product based companies like Intel, Skava, FSS, Infoview Technologies, Burning Glass, Soliton, Smart Dv and so on visit MCET every year and also bulk recruiters like Infosys, NTT data, Tech Mahindra visit MCET every year. It is a good college with poor output.

Placements: In my batch, around 30 of the students got placed in different companies with includes design company, IT industry etc. In terms of salary, it was around 3LPA. Infosys, Category global, Hepatica, Sakthi Auto components, AIS, Force Motors visited the college. The students got selected for sales roles, design roles, marketing roles, IT engineer and GET roles. Probably Rs. 6,000 was the highest stipend which my friends got during their intern.

It is a good college with experienced faculty members but lacking in placements.

Placements: The college has good placements. Nearly 80% of the students were placed. The highest salary was about 11 lacs per annum. The companies like Zoho, Amazon, Robert Bosch, Infosys, NTT Data, Unix, Infoview, Caresoft, Daemon software, Mind tree, Jasmin Infotech, Voltech, Hinduja and some companies visit as per need.

My views on Dr MCET, Pollachi.

Placements: The placements are getting worse year by year. This year, the placement count was to low, and the highest salary package was 5.5 lacs per annum. Being a remote college, most of the companies make a hard choice to come here for recruitment, though the students here are capable enough to get placed in those companies.

Good college with a good academic track record.

Placements: Placement opportunities were not appreciable when I passed out. Companies like Infosys, Hepatica Technology and Haritha Tech Serv visited. Overall, the college was good. I had quite a good time there. We got greater support from the management to do international projects too. Placement and internship opportunities were not that much appreciable.

Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology- A good choice for students

Placements: Placements for mechanical engineering for my batch were above average. Out of a class strength of 70, maximum students got placed across companies such as CTS, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Maruti Udyog Ltd., Maruti Services, etc. The placement cell of our college is very proactive and helps students prepare well for interviews.

The students who got placed in Infosys got an internship in Mysore for about three months. Then after completing it, the students will get the joining letter in the month of July. Our college has a good environment and is recommend to others.

Placements: The placement was quite good last year. But this year, due to the effect of GST and Trump's visa policy, it is not as expected. Our seniors are going for off-campus interviews. But it will be normal for the following batches. The average salary package is about Rs. 300000 per year. The maximum is about Rs. 750000 and the minimum is Rs. 200000. Many core companies like Soliton, Intel, Bosch, and TVS visit. IT companies like CTS, TCS, Accenture have visited. Mostly, 80% of them gets an internship....

If you work hard, you will surely get the reward.

Placements: Most job offers are from IT companies. Only a few companies like Soliton, VVDN, National Star, etc. come for recruitment. Placement coaching is good. A few off-campus placement opportunities are available. If you work hard, surely you will get a chance. Infosys contributes the most in placements. It takes 100+ students every year.
