No major cons. Above average experience.

Placements: MCET is definitely one of the fore-frontiers when it comes to placements. Companies start visiting the campus right from the beginning of the 7th semester. Before the placement season starts, students are made to undergo an all-inclusive training program to brush up our aptitude solving and technical skills. Soft skills training begins right from the first semester. 80% of the eligible students were placed and about 50% of them were placed in reputed companies like Soliton, RobertBosch, Intel, R...

I did my engineering in computer science from MCET. The college has a wonderful infrastructure. Class facilities and lab facilities are good. The placement training session starts in the second year. More than 30 top companies offer placement and internships every year.

Being the second category of colleges in Anna University list, this college is trying to establish themselves to become a top rated college. But placement is the main problem as they can place a maximum of 60% of their students to the companies which give better packages. This college is a strict one in terms of discipline. The rules like students cannot leave campus during working hours needs to be lifted. Also, the lab uniform needs to be changed to overcoat as like not.

The college has good facilities that makes me learn many things. First, the infrastructure of the college is constructed in a beautiful way that gives a peace of mind when I enter the college. Then coming to the classroom they provide projectors for every class. The lab facilities are good with necessary systems, AC and also with internet facilities for a few systems. Finally, coming to placements, they give special attention to the students of all categories according to their strength and we...

Our College campus is good. Having good infrastructure and good teachers. Not all departments are strict. Very few are strict. Club activities plays a major role. Hindi is mandatory. Cultural fests takes place once in two months. All kinds of functions are celebrated. Campus is a cool and happening place because of the lush green surrounding. College also provides the facility to join NSS, NCC camps. Sports department is also doing well in our college.

This is one of the fine institutions in Coimbatore. Everything is fine with MCET except the lecturers. Equal importance is given to extra-curricular activities for those who excel in their academics, same for sports as well. Pre-placement trainings are good. Students are not given any handouts as such but most of the teachers share their presentations with them.

Only few faculty is good enough and remaining just wanted pass percentage in their subject. No practical knowledge at all. Worst hostel for girls. Worst placement office and no proper training for communication and placement. It is marks oriented college like other colleges in Tamil Nadu.

One of the best college with NAAC A+ .

Placements: Our college has received NAAC A+ three times, and that too continuously. At present, there aren't many placement opportunities at most of the colleges, including ours. But if you have the skill and creativity, you get placed asap! And more than 50% of students are getting placed, and most of the students with good skills got placed early. From 3-10LPA. Most of the students got internships.
