Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.

It is a strict college but gives good college life.
Placements: It is a new course introduced in our college this year so there are no placements in this course. Placements provided in our college are good with average salary packages. Many job offers are provided in this course.
Infrastructure: Our college is well facilitated with a tight security system where students have to enter with their ID card. There are laboratories for every subject with trained teachers. Our college is beautiful with trees and flowers. There are good washroom facilities. The hostel is good for the safety of the students. Food served like breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks, and dinner is good. Warden will take students to the hospital in case of an emergency. It has a canteen that is open till 8 PM and till 4 PM on Sunday. There are separate visiting hours and strict rules.
Faculty: Around 95% of teachers hold doctorates. They are experienced and helpful in clearing the doubts of the students. The course curriculum is relevant through which students gain practical knowledge. Workshops are arranged frequently so that students gain extra knowledge. If students study the syllabus and do assignments, they can easily crack semester exams. The pass percentage is 50%. The course curriculum consists of 60% of the computer science syllabus and 40% of the business syllabus.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Dress code is strict in our college and little changes are needed. Our college has a throwball and basketball team and a well-equipped gym. Sports day organised in our college is enjoyable. It has good environment with many trees.
