Q:   Is KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology a good college?

A:

About Few years back KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET) is listed as a good college for any one to do engineering at Coimbatore. It has:

- Experienced faculty members
- Adequate track records on placements (approximately 80 – 90% of placement)
- It is also accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade and NBA, introducing Innovation as one of its competency parameters.
- Approved by AICTE
- Strong industry connections
- Research-oriented environment

It however may not be ranked as one of the best universities as some of the best colleges in India. Still, for students who are looking to enroll in a good engineering institute in the region then KPRIET should suffice. It is a good place to study and ensures that the learners acquire appropriate job prospects.

Q:   When will KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology cutoff list release?

A:

The KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET) cut off list often gets released following the counseling session, held during July and August. A timeline looks something like this:

It is anticipating for the Cut Off list to be released within a week or two after counseling sessions are over, approximately in middle August. But on other hand, there are important things that might change such as:

Q:   What is the GATE cutoff for KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology 2024?

A:

I could not find the cutoff for GATE for KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, or KPRIT specifically, 2024. A:

The latest rankings, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET) in Coimbatore is generally well-regarded but does not routinely rank among the best engineering institutes nationally. Really an underrated college and is going to be one of the top colleges in my city .
Placements: Our college claims to provide about 99% of placements for all students with over 50 companies. The highest package was 54 LPA by 3 students last year, and the lowest was about 3 LPA with an average of 5 LPA. For my course companies like Zoho, Haier, HP, Infosys, and much more. There are placements and internships available by the college from late 2nd year to 3rd year. Top roles go upto Project manager for top major companies.
Infrastructure: The labs and lab facilities of our college are top-notch with high-performance systems. Students are provided with free Wi-Fi with very strong coverage and speed. The library is huge, with 2 floors of continuing books of all genres, both fictional and nonfiction. There are also computers inside the library if you need to access e-books. Hostel dorms are very well maintained with frequent cleaning, and the restrooms are well cleaned and maintained. The hygienic side is that the rooms are top-notch with good service. Food is not bad at all compared to other colleges, and the menu is for 2 weeks with special dishes twice a week for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
Faculty: The professors are highly qualified with years of experience in their field. For instance, my machine learning professor is a Ph.D. holder. The curriculum is perfectly made for students to gain knowledge throughout the field, all nook and cranny, and makes us prepared for attending interviews and placements. The semesters are fairly difficult, but the training given during classes is well and good to score decent marks.
Other: I chose this course for the scope for the future, as the world is shifting towards AI and ML. Better job opportunities and future. The events in our college happen almost every week, conducted by other colleges or inside of our college itself, either by department or by the faculty members.

Honest review about KPR.
Placements: From my batch, most of the students are getting placed. Students are placed in both IT and code related jobs based on their interest. I'm getting placed in BSH home appliances with 4.4 LPA. Students getting placed in Odessa company receive better packages.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is very nice. College campus is always green in nature. Hostel infrastructure is also nice. They maintain separate hostels for both boys and girls with veg and non-veg canteen based on students. They celebrate hostel day with full of events for one week with DJ.
Faculty: The faculty members in our department are kindly and friendly in nature. They also plan field trips with industry visits and tours. They have many clubs to motivate students and they also conduct events. Semester exams are quite difficult but if a student performs well in internals then he/she can score better.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in electronics. I would recommend this course.

KPRIET - You can get everything that you expect in your college life.
Placements: Here, the placements are promising. Nearly 85% - 90% of the students here get placements. The highest package here is 54,00,000, and the average package is 6,00,000. The top recruiters here are Amazon and many more. Many of the students get internship opportunities in their 3rd year, and students do get internships in foreign countries.
Infrastructure: Here, students will get access to Wi-Fi for studying purposes and only digital classrooms. The library here is okay compared to other colleges. Here, students who come in the sports quota can get full guidance and support, and not only sports quota students, everybody can use it. The hostel is slightly strict for girls. Mess food is being prepared by maintaining proper hygiene, and the taste will be okay. Small issues like fever, cough will be treated in college by the medical room, and severe issues will be addressed immediately.
Faculty: Teachers are more knowledgeable and also they're much more friendly with the students. They do engage with students and talk with students to get to know what all is in their minds. Teaching will also be good here. They help you improvise your ideas regarding any of the projects, etc. They do make a student industry-ready by arranging lectures with industry people, so we can gain more than a college teaches. Semester exams are moderate, and it has a very good pass percentage, it seems.
Other: Here, students will get the opportunity to get engaged in many of the cultural fests. They do care about the enjoyment side. Intake is less compared to other colleges, so they take care of students very well.
