Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.

It has good infrastructure, but the quality of teaching and learning exposure is very less.
Placements: Around 60% of students got placed in from college. The highest salary offered would be Rs. 12,500 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 6,000 per month. Asahi India, Herotec India and Mahindra were the top recruiting companies of our college. Design engineer, shop floor, operator, procurement, etc., were the roles offered. Medium-scale companies provided internships on our campus. Many students even got internships in the government programme in COIndia. Moreover, the internships were done by the students themselves by searching the companies independently.
Infrastructure: Our campus had E classes in every class. Labs were also well-equipped. I was a day scholar so can't review about the hostel. Sports were very good, especially hockey and athletics. Wi-Fi was not available on the campus. The library had good facilities and was also well-equipped with Opac feature.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful only with the syllabus. They didn't have much knowledge of the outer world. Self-learning is important rather than depending on teachers. Self-learning includes participating in other colleges and conducting events for our college as well. The course curriculum was relevant.
Other: I chose this course because I like it. I think it would be better if students are focused on practical learning rather than just completing syllabus for exam sake. Events are held fine. Campus surroundings are very good, as it is in the heart of the city, and commuting becomes very easy for far students.

Rules are much annoying, otherwise it's a good place for discipline and studies.
Placements: If you are a student with current nil or no history of arrears, then you are eligible for the placements and the college will train you for the placements like in every aspect of it like walking, speaking and they will change you in everything as per the requirement of a company.
Infrastructure: This is a vast campus with a separate building for each department, and the main block has multiple departments within it. This college is also provided with all the lab facilities with every needed equipment. Also, cafeteria and mess facilities are available here. Also, a hostel facility is available on its campus. Transportation is one of the important advantages of this college.
Faculty: The faculty members are very friendly and well versed in their subject. This college is under the Anna University's curriculum. Before every semester, they conduct 3 internal tests and 3 class tests, and with LMS feature, students can access the courses details and materials anytime. Many seminar classes are also provided for the students.
Other: Every year, many events are arranged by the college, and with that separate departments can arrange for the events. Also, the usage of the mobile is somewhat restricted, but there is a lenient, where the students can use the mobile, except the class hours. Also, sports here has an important role.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, but the placements are poor.
Placements: Students in computer science and ECE had good placements, but mechanical and civil engineering students didn't have good placement records. Most of them went for layman jobs. The college could have provided some good placements.
Infrastructure: We didn't have a good library. Wi-Fi is not available. Labs are average. The quality of water is good. Canteens can be improved.
Faculty: Teachers at NGP Institute of Technology were highly qualified and helpful, and they addressed the students in a very good manner. Their delivery of knowledge is good. The faculty members in the mechanical department are good. The curriculum lacks practical knowledge and is not relevant to the current industry.
Other: Biomedical was good.
