Satisfied with the faculty members, good placement opportunity in 2023, and good infrastructure.

Placements: Many students got placements with an average to the highest package. And many top-class companies are starting to come and select students directly from the college premises. The highest package is maybe 10 lacs per annum. The average package is 4-6 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi facility is also provided. But the washrooms in the college are not well maintained. Hostel faculty members are also good. But still, there is an issue in the mess and canteen. Games equipment is also provided in the hostels.

Faculty: Not all teachers are the best. But most of the teachers are qualified and teach very well. Most of the teachers are very helpful and always try there best to impart all the knowledge they have. Only one midterm is taken and papers are set up according to the GTU criteria.

Other: There are many fest, events, cultural shows, sports days, and freshers party organized by the students with the help of the faculty members. And the principal is damn strict but that leads to harmony and discipline among students and faculty members.

It is the best and affordable government college in Surat.

Placements: Placements are enhanced this year because many companies like Adani, Larsen & Turbo, Essar, and TCS and local companies of Surat, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad visited our college. More than 15 companies visited our college this year. The maximum companies offered a minimum salary package of more than 4.5 LPA and a maximum salary package of 8.23 LPA. The role offered is a Graduate Engineer Trainee.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are not good in our department. The quality of the hostel is well maintained. Food is not available after the corona, which is a major issue. I will rate 3 out of 5 for Wi-Fi and other facilities. Hostel facilities can be rated 3 out of 5.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are helpful in the submission of assignments but are a little busy with other work. The course curriculum is not relevant in the first year. After that, all the courses remain the same.

Other: I chose this course because EC is the better option to work either in the hardware or software sectors. Our college organises events, fests, and extracurricular activities regularly.

Good college for studies. Some faculty members rude, but we manage it .

Placements: I am an Electronics & communication pass out of the year 2023. The highest package was INR 8 lpa and the lowest was INR 3 lpa. You have to at least maintain about 7.5+ CGPA to get good internship and if you have good knowledge in coding than you get easily get placement in good company or industry .

Infrastructure: Labs are not working. Some times classes are not clean. Hostel is good and food is average. Hostel is nice as you get big room with two other hostel mates so you do not feel lonely. Some times food is average, so we have to go outside for lunch and other stuff .

Faculty: Faculty is nice and they help in solving all your problems. They help in achieving your goal. They help you in your individual projects. Theory knowledge is not very important as compared to practical knowledge but you have to perform practical on your own if you can't understand you can ask your faculty to hep too.

Everything is good at our college because it is a government college.

Placements: Top recruiting companies like TCS, Adani, Reliance, etc., visit our campus. The electronics-based company comes from Ahmedabad and Surat. The top role offered is assistant system engineer. Approximately 30-40% of students are placed.

Infrastructure: All facilities are good, but sports and games have fewer opportunities. Wi-Fi and labs are good.

Faculty: The semester exams are not difficult to pass. It requires 21 marks to pass in one semester and 12 out of 30 in the internal exam. The course curriculum is the same as that of the GTU, and it is the same for all in the first semester before changing. I graduated from ECE but also learned the fundamentals of civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering.

Other: From 2019, it will be a focus because of some new changes in the curriculum. I prefer this college to everyone because the fees are too low and you get much facilities.

Review of Dr. S & S.S.Ghandhi Government Engineering College.

Placements: Placements are good in our course. The top recruiting companies are E-Infochips, Reliance, Jio, etc. Faculty members always train us for better placements. Good skills also help students to secure jobs and also keep good marks in the previous few semesters.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good. Ethernet ports are available for wired connections to our laptops in classrooms and laboratories. Computers are outdated in our laboratory. Most of the software is not available for students. Laboratory infrastructure is not good in our department.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and encouraging. They also help us with our doubts but we will have to approach them. The course curriculum is outdated. But few subjects related to modern techs such as Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things are introduced. Semester exams are easy if we prepare well for good marks.
