A review of Vishwakarma Government Engineering College.
Placements: The placement in our college is good. 30–40 companies visit our campus every year. The average package at our college is INR 400000 per year. The highest package is up to INR 2100000 per year. The highest package was from the Electronics and Communications Department.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course is simple. All the students in the first year have the same subjects to study, and from the second year on, we have our own departmental subjects. Our college's infrastructure is new as compared to other government colleges. The lab facilities are average. Some computers in the lab don't work properly, or some don't turn on.
Faculty: There were a total of two written exams. One is the midterm examination, which is 30 marks, and the other is the university examination, which is 70 marks. In midterm, you have to get 12 marks to pass, and in end term, you have to get 23 marks to pass. Also, there are viva taken after mid-sem.
Other: Our batch has a total of 120 seats. I chose electronics and communications because, from the beginning, I have had a love for this branch. The faculty members are well experienced and have knowledge about their subjects as well.

Vgec: from a student perspective .
Placements: Placement opportunities at our pretty decent. Every year student grab quite decent packages and get placed in good companies like micron, glide, TCS, einfochips, alpha numero etc. The average package lies between 4-5 Lacs per annum. 60% of students every year get placed in the companies.
Infrastructure: College campus doesn't have a very good infrastructure facilities some labs lack the specified equipment, library is also really small. Sports and games requires large grounds which is not present within the campus. Apart from it the Hostel facilities are also not upto the mark the rooms are really small and sinking. Though mess food is really good but above all it's not suitable to live there.
Faculty: All the professors and faculty members are quite highly qualified in their respective field which is being showed in their way of teaching. Although most of the professor are quite helpful for students but few of them are only restricted to their subject. Level of difficult is really high for university exam like passing is quite easier than to score big in exam you need to really work hard for it.
Other: The primary reason of choosing this course is the raising demand of people in Semiconductor industry where we learn about the new technologies that are used in designing Mobile phones, laptops, tables, pcs etc. These technology is useful in designing the ic for these devices to work in an efficient manner.

The College is perfect for all students.
Placements: 50% of the students get placed every year in our college and course. The highest package offered by companies is 8 Lacs in our course and the lowest package is 3.5 Lacs. The top companies like adani, tata, torrent come for placements. Around 20% of the students get the internship opportunity.
Infrastructure: The facilities are very good in our college and the infrastructure is also very good. The labs are equipped with the instruments and Wi-Fi and also computers. The facilities in hostel is also very good the quality of food is very good and hygienic the first aid box and fire safety is also available in the college.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable the teaching quality of teachers is beyond syllabus knowledge the curriculum is very much the same as the university suggested time table but the faculty members are great knowledgeable they teach the practical knowledge as well as theory also.
Other: I have very much interest in electrical stream so I chose this course the specially is that we can learn from every branch and apply it. The campus is organised and arrange lots of events and tech fests for students to develop their hidden tellents.

Honest College Review .
Placements: The eligibility criteria for placements is a 7.5 CGPA. An aptitude test is taken during the placements to sort out the students according to their level. The highest placement for ECE was 25 LPA, and the average package is around 4-5 LPA. Synopsis is a top recruiter.
Infrastructure: The hostel is quite good and huge. There are 2 blocks for the boys hostel and a single block for the girls hostel. There's a mess itself in the hostel, which has everything, including a cafe and a grocery shop. There's a college WiFi, which is very good. There's a gym for sports.
Faculty: Since my childhood, I have been very interested in electronics, which made me select this course. Moreover, my family has a good background in this field. Only one internal exam is held in the college, and it's difficult level is moderate. The pass percentage is around 65%.
