All about East West Group Of Institutions, Magadi Road.

Placements: More than 40% of students are recruited to the MNCs and others are in the private sector and government jobs. There is a well-maintained campus and library. Labs are well maintained and equipment is very good and attendees maintain a friendly environment.

Infrastructure: Hostel occupied more space on campus, with well-maintained rooms and a good warden. The food is also good and has Wi-Fi facilities. There are more blocks like MBA block, nursing block, PU block, and engineering block. Many courses are offered by the institute. A very friendly environment is maintained on campus. The most important is there is no ragging on campus. Ragging is strictly prohibited.

Faculty: There are more than 100 teachers on campus. Some of them have done Ph.D. and secured doctorate in their specialisation. They are not so strict and they have maintained friendly nature but also strict when someone crosses the limit and break the rules. Our principal is very friendly and tries hard to make our education perfect and makes many programs for academics.

Other: I think this college is a good option for shaping our careers and life.

Dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: Very few placement opportunities are provided by the college. No companies come to this college for campus placements. They prefer consultants to recruit the students. On-campus drives are not conducted in this college. The placement percentage is very low.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but they will not provide Wi-Fi with a good range. The labs are good. The hostel food is very bad. Medical facilities are not available. A hospital is present 2 km away from the college.

Faculty: In our EEE department, the teachers are very helpful to students. They are ready to help the students in solving their queries. They teach what is there in textbooks, and they teach us its applications. They also provide industry exposure.

Other: An annual cultural fest called Akruthi is conducted for 2 days. On the first day, they start with the battle of branches, and the students of each branch have to give a performance. The next day, solo performances and DJ night are held.

It is a good college, but they have to increase good educational activities.

Placements: Less than 40% of the students got placed. The salary package offered is 2 LPA to 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are IBM, Triveni and ABC. Top roles offered to the students are software engineer, assistant software engineer, technical engineer, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer and civil engineer. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3.2 LPA. Less than 30% of the students got an internship because students cannot explore any company environment.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available occasionally and is not good in the range. We have to use our own internet when we are doing our educational activities. Labs are good with instruments, and classrooms are also good. Smart classrooms are also available here. The library is good with a good volume of books, and browsing is also available in it. The hostel is good with many rooms but not in the area. Management is strict, but it is good for students. Food is quite poor quality, and canteen is charging quite a reasonable price for food. Medical facilities are average. Sports have separate management, and it is encouraging students.

Faculty: Lecturers here are helpful, friendly and have knowledge of the subject. Teaching is not bad, and students can cope with the scenario. I am not sure whether the course curriculum is relevant or not, but it depends on the students' interest. Our college also has some drawbacks like not making students frequently visit the industry.

Placements are not up to the mark.

Placements: The placements are not bad, but for EEE, the placements are bad, and it needs to be improved. The weightage is also more, and many more alternative courses are also available in our college. Functions like college day, etc., are organised in our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. They need to be improved in terms of sports, indoor games and outdoor games. Athletics are also improved in our college.

Faculty: Teaching is satisfactory, and the teachers are knowledgeable. Some of the teachers quarrel among themselves, which is the worst thing about them. The faculty must improve, and they have to be the best.

Other: Only a single fest is organised for the entire year.

EWIT has good environment.

Placements: Placements are not considerable in our college. Only 5-10 students get placed per annum. That too their package is only about 3lpa. We had to search for internship in industries. But all the internships that we have attended are no funding basis. Placement cell is not that much functional.

Infrastructure: Main thing is our college is not present nearby ro any main road. We have to travel long way either from outer ring road or from Magadi main road. Both of them renders a minimum distance of 2 km. We have to walk such a long way. Games are given more importance and most of us spend times in playing.

Faculty: Faculty members are good in EEE. But since department consists of advanced subjects most of the students withdraw their studies by 2nd year only without obtaining their degree. Campus is crowded and it's better to VTU to keep syllabus that today real world is dealing with.
