Our college has value for money. It is a good college.

Placements: Placements are average here. The maximum you will get jobs with a salary of around Rs. 8,000 per month to 11,000 per month in our state, i.e., West Bengal. Most of the students got jobs during our tenure. Many companies visited our college like Trishan Metals, IFB, RESMI, Kharagpur Meta and some companies from Asansol. I don't remember their names.

Infrastructure: The hostel is not available here, but you will get a mess. Classrooms are average. It's a government college, so everything is fine. There is a good Wi-Fi facility, and there is a small ground to play on the campus. It is a good place to have fun, and the library is also good. You will get all books from the library.

Faculty: Teachers here are very good and helpful. They are well educated. Mostly you will get ready for the industry, but you just need a little bit more knowledge. Semester exams are difficult if you don't prepare yourself. Most of the companies will hire students who have above 60% of marks for jobs.

Other: It is a very crowded campus. Many events are organised here, and you will surely enjoy them.

Review of Engineering Institute For Junior Executives, Howrah.

Placements: Placements were decent. About 50%–60% of students were placed. The minimum salary package offered was 1.2 LPA, and the maximum was 3 LPA. Tata, JSW, Visuvious, and Sail were the top recruiters. Around 70%-80% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: Hostels are available within a 50-meter distance. Shops are also available within the same distance. There is a hospital within 1 kilometer. Good labs and a library are available.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and well-qualified. They graduated from IITs. Every teacher had an M.Tech. from a recognised institute. They were very knowledgeable and humble. Students were not ready for the industry.

Other: I chose this field because candidates were very low in it. Students can do research after their M.Tech. Howrah station is within 3.5 kilometers, and the south-eastern railway is within 1 kilometer.
