Experience the true learning in a class apart from the exposure to college life and environment.
Placements: I am not sure about the placement numbers but most of the students who passed out from our college are either working as teachers in many schools and others are self employed at different places. Professor, content writer, translator, linguist, etc., are some top professions that most students are offered.
Infrastructure: The library is always open for students in our college and it has great classic books. The hostel can be a bit downside because the structure of it is very old. There are 3 canteens in the college but only 2 of them have better ambiance. All 3 canteens provide tasty food.
Faculty: I had a brilliant experience with the teachers of our college. Their knowledge, their experience, and their perspectives take the learning experience to another level. They have excellent knowledge and willingness for the learners to grow. The course curriculum is not much research-oriented but it has a scope for growth. It also depends on individuals' interests and input on how they shape the course for themselves. The exam system is simple. Everything is not crammed up in a single semester but summative evaluations at regular intervals.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in literature for a long time. I digged some information about this college from its faculty and alumni and word of mouth from many people and decided to go for it. The exposure that I was expecting was fulfilled by this college such as college fests, extra curricular activities, social outreach activities, etc. The college is always hustling and bustling which keeps the energy and enthusiasm flowing.

The ultimate best college.
Placements: Placements are good as compared to other colleges. There were placements for the profile of the writer, teacher, and creative writing. From first year there were placement for various companies. Many professors also guide and had contact with alumni, this was also a source of placement other than regular notification.
Infrastructure: There are many classrooms and some computer labs where internet facility was free. The college has a website where students can have access to books and materials of the subjects. There is also a Wi-Fi near the main building. Many sports activities are there and at the year-end, many festivals are there worth a visit.
Faculty: Around 40 to 60 students in the class. Teachers are awesome but some might not that much good. Teacher to student ratio varies from stream to stream. We had 7 teachers for 4 subjects. There were some seminars and program for the subject and we can attend some seminar from outside of the college also.
Other: There are festivals in december. The crowd is mix people from Thailand, Korea, North East, and Afghanisthan come here.

Regardless of the category of disciplines studied, Fergusson College requires a cut-off of 82 marks for M.A. admissions. Nevertheless, there are no minimum requirements because the majority of applicants are deserving and seats are distributed according to merit.

You need to study the basics of English literature, like the developments and types of poetry, various types of novels, and famous dramas and their types. Also, study the very generalised aspects of English literature which seem equivalent to the degree level.
