Absolutely loved my journey because of the faculty and great improvements in me.
Placements: There were around 300 students in my batch 2019-21. Almost 170 of us have qualified for UGC-NET, and 100 out of 170 have qualified for JRF as well. People who aspired to do a PhD are doing the same today. They passed the selection process. Some of us also have become permanent assistant professors, and some are working as guest lecturers. Even our juniors are doing so well.
Infrastructure: Our central library is one of the largest libraries in India, Sayajirao Gaikawad Central Library. And hostels are available as double-seater rooms. No single rooms are allotted in arts departments. Facilities and canteens are top-notch. It's available on Google Search as well. You can see for a crosscheck.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They enhance critical thinking abilities through lectures, projects, and exams. There are question papers with 70 marks in external exams; 60 marks out of 70 are for subjective answers. It shows their encouragement for critical thinking enhancement.
Other: I chose this course because I always have been interested in being an assistant professor of English literature. There are always some lecture programs and scholarly events happening in the Manviya Moolya Anusheelan Kendra, which is a part of our faculty. Moreover, there is a theatre group called Rangshala, which is actively engaged in theatrical activities. Sanskriti and Spain are well-known cultural festivals exploring various events. Sport festivals are top-notch.

Review of BHU - Banaras Hindu University.
Placements: Students of 5th and 6th semesters are eligible for placements. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, etc., come here. Students received around 25 LPA to 30 LPA on average. Sometimes, they get a 1 crore package from foreign companies. My plan after getting a degree is to look for a job related to my field.
Infrastructure: Many extracurricular activities are conducted in our university. There are many auditoriums and stadiums for sports. Many sports courts are in good condition. I will rate it 8 out of 10. Water and food are available 24X7.
Faculty: I chose English literature because of my love for literature. There is no other reason. There are approximately 130 to 200 students in my course. There are 3 to 4 sections in English course. Teachers are good and have a good command of their subjects. Every teacher was helpful and kind during my graduation. It was a 3-year full-time course divided into 6 semesters. Exams are moderate to hard, depending on our preparation. It is not so tough to pass the exams. The questions come from previous years' papers and the topics discussed in the class.
Other: The eligibility for an M.A. course is that a student should obtain 55% in graduation for the general category and 50% for the reserved category. All the details regarding the application form, application fees, and dates are available on the university website. Recently, Anne Besant fellowship has been provided to PG students who have completed their PG. This fellowship is given to those who have scored 8.5 CGPA in the 3rd semester.

I am completely satisfied with the faculty members and studies provided by the college.
Placements: As the course is M.A English, so you cannot expect placements. Other courses like B.Tech and B.Com or law or M.A are provided placements. But this college will help in the NET examination which is helpful in the jobs in further life.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing, and hostels have a value for money even much more. BHU has its CCS and is a temple. The campus is very beautiful. Every department has a different building, and there is also a garden. It has many hostels and the food served is also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, helpful and all are Ph.D. holders. Exams are quite tough, but online it is easy. Even online teaching is very helpful and just like offline experience. The course and teachers will help in competitive exams like NET JRF.

Satisfied with faculty. Placement needs to be made available. Great infrastructure.
Placements: There are no placements currently available for English literature students. They can opt for higher studies as per requirements. Students garner internships for companies like creative, wordpress etc. Top roles offered in our course are those of professor, assistant professor, emcee, language analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi all around the campus is made accessible to students. The labs are well maintained with lab experts who are hands on. The classrooms are airy and often renovated. The library is huge and has a massive collection of books. The hostel food is squeaky clean and hygienic. The medical facilities are easily accessible. Sports and games are highly encouraged.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is top notch and as expected. The teachers are approachable. The course curriculum is relevant and make the students industry ready. It prepares them for practical life.
Other: I chose this course as I am passionate for literature. The best thing about the course is the liberty to experiment with different perspectives. I wish placements are made available.

I am blessed to be a part of India's top university.
Placements: Banaras Hindu University doesn't provide any placement for the course of masters in English. It offers placements to the students of management. So there are no roles, salary package or internship offered to any student after the completion of the course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are beautifully built carved with ancient manuscripts. Sayaji Gayekwad library is the main library of the campus. The food served in the hostel is healthy for the overall development of students at affordable prices.
Faculty: It's worth mentioning the hard work of the teachers, who are highly knowledgeable and helpful. Effective revision before the exam was the best technique adopted by the faculty. The course curriculum was relevant as the students are ready to deal with the corporate sector.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest, and it is important in society. I want that placements should be provided to the students of masters in English as there are tremendous opportunities in this field where students can learn a lot.
