It is a really good college for placements. It has good faculty members and good infrastructure.

Placements: About 90% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered here is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. IBM and TCS companies recruit students from here, and many more top companies visit this college for recruitment. Many students get internships through our college in top companies.

Infrastructure: This college has free high-speed Wi-Fi, laboratories and a library. This college has many facilities, and it is student-friendly. The food served in the college canteen and in the hostel is great. There are also medical facilities. This college really encourages sports and conducts many games.

Faculty: The teachers here are very qualified and knowledgeable. They all have completed their PhD. This college selectively chooses teachers who have good experience and knowledge. Students here are industry-ready. This college trains students very well by providing them with good placements and skill training.

Other: I have chosen electrical and electronics engineering because it has great scope in the near future. This college conducts many extracurricular activities.

An NBA accrediting college within the centre of the city for making the students study in safe envy.

Placements: It is currently improving its placements to a large scale for the students' welfare. The placement officer helps the students personally if any requests regarding placement. Core companies are just being provided by the placement cell for the students to get placed in the core companies to fulfill the satisfaction of the students as well as their parents.

Infrastructure: The campus consists of separate blocks for all departments like EEE & MECH, CIVIL & IT, ECE & CSE. First year students are being kept in a separate block in order to provide a ragging free environment that makes the students to concentrate more in the studies. Hostel facilities are provided for both boys as well as girls separately. Labs are well furnished with required equipments and well trained staffs and lab assistants. Sports are being a main role for the talented students to improve them apart from studies.

Faculty: Each department consists of a HOD, an assistant HOD, DEAN, 45 to 50 faculty members, 10 to 15 non teaching faculty members, that help the environment a well being society for a peaceful growth with the studies. Thefaculties are also ready to help the students by giving extra coaching after the class hours or may be in the holidays with the proper permissions of the HOD and the principal.

Other: Symposiums for each and everyone department are being held periodically, this helps the students to develop their skills.

A college with good management and faculty members.

Placements: Around 50% of students got placements. The salary package offered is around 2 LPA - 8 LPA. I don't remember companies' names. Companies like Zoho, Zuci, Cognizant, Freedom Software Solution, etc., visit our college. Many students try off-campus placements. Many students got placed in TCS, Wipro, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is nice. They provide free Wi-Fi for both students and staff. Labs, classrooms, and the library are clean and comfortable. I am not a hostel student, so I don't know about the hostel and its food and safety. I heard that it is nice.

Faculty: Semester exams are average. They are not very difficult. Most of the students cleared exmas. Around 80% of students passed their exams. Teachers and coaching are nice. Teachers are very intelligent and helpful. They guide us in many ways. They are very friendly.

Other: Events are regularly held. Everyone gets a chance to participate. It has a friendly environment. Scholarships are provided in our college. They guide us properly.

Francis Xavier Engineering College, a frank review from a Keralite.

Placements: My college provides placements in marketing and information technology. If you are looking for core field placement, then my college stands back. During our tenure, my friends got placed in some software companies and some marketing field. 20 percent of the students in my batch got placed. The case was similar to my senior batch too. The salary offered was from 8000 to 30,000 per month. The major companies visited were Maverick, and TCS have conducted a southern Tamilnadu placement, Apple Tree, Indigo, etc. The roles mainly offered were the executive manager and the software engineer related posts. We did not have any process called the internship.

Infrastructure: According to me, the facilities were good. We did not have Wi-Fi at that time. I don't know about now. The classrooms were pretty decent. We had a very good library. There was no such thing as the medical facility. Our college never supported sports and games. We had okay labs where some machines don't work. The mechanical lab was pretty good. I really loved the food in canteen and cost was economic. I was living outside the hostel, so I don't know about the hostel facilities. Overall, I had a good four year time at my college.

Faculty: All our faculty, maybe most of our faculty were good. But I would say they were not much good teachers. They did not have that experience to teach us. But everyone was very helpful. We can ask doubts and get clarified by them. I think they had pressure from the management to get a good result, so they opted for getting good marks and nothing else. We had extra classes after our regular classes. I think the engineering curriculum itself is worst. Nothing helps in our job. We had a good number of faculty. Everything was perfect in that category.

Other: If you are looking for a college in Tirunelveli, I think we are one of the best. I think quality wise, every college in Nellai is alike. But, there are better colleges. You can check that. For me, I had a nice experience. Our college concentrated only on studies. You cannot have any extracurricular activities. So it depends upon you, whether you want to choose it or not. If you are studious and living in Nellai, you can go for this college for sure. It is in the city. All other colleges I think are very far from the city. The fee is a bit higher. I paid 77,000 per year.

Good experience.

Placements: Nearly 75 percent of students got placed, with a range from 2 LPA to 35 LPA. The average salary is 3.5 LPA. There are quite a few good companies, but the training is not much. We need to self-learn more about the core subjects by connecting with wise or willing people to learn.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of some blocks is good, while others are just okay. The internet in the hostel is good, but in the classrooms, it is bad. The applied labs are awesome; they provide more exposure to students and are a considerably useful thing. The canteen food is okay, but the quantity is not enough, so we need more.

Faculty: It's an autonomous college, so it's easy to crack the exams with the effective guidance of teachers and staff. Some lectures might be boring, while others are more useful, depending on the staff. We need to identify the good staff during the staff selection process in the first semester.
