The college is good, but placements in core branches needs to be improved.
Placements: Placements in our college are good for our branch. Almost all students got placed in our branch. The salary package offered is approximately 5 LPA. Vardhaman and other textiles mills hired many students. Almost all students get an internship. Roles like production supervisor, quality inspector, etc., were offered to students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is there from the beginning. Hostel facilities are good, but the mess is a bit below average as most of the messes do. Wi-Fi is available, but nowadays, no one uses it because of slow speed. Canteens have many restrictions on which food item to sold which created in shortage of options for the changeover. First Aid is good, and an ambulance is available 24 hours to escort you to a nearby hospital in case of emergency.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good and helpful. They also invite people from industries to improve our knowledge. It is useful in having us minimise our knowledge gap between industry and course curriculum. Teachers are helpful and qualified, but they lack industrial knowledge.
Other: I choose this course because there are no placements in other branches. Events are organised in our college regularly with extracurricular activities, sports etc.

Dissatisfied in regard of placement.
Placements: Placement for my batch was not up to the mark, whereas placements for my junior and senior batch were quite good, as Trident came for campus placement. They offered a package of 9 LPA to the selected students. Although a lot of small-scale companies visited for placement, the packages were dissatisfying. Placement cell was not very active during my course. Companies like Centre, Shiva Spinners, etc., visited for placements, but the packages they offered were very low.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. But I would suggest it would be better if you go for NIT or IIT or PIET for textile engineering. They have a much better infrastructure. There are not many labs for practical learning. Not much industrial training provided is provided. The library is not vast. Even the area in which the university is located is quite far from the main city. There is a conveyance issue. People of the area are not much educated. The area is not much safe for girls at night. Hostel facility is poor. Canteens are very clumsy. Classrooms are not up to date.
Faculty: The faculty are awesome and well-experienced. The only issue is with the placement. The faculty are quite helpful and active. They are always available for help. They will guide you at every step. The only issue is with the management and not the faculty. Senior professors are very experienced and active.
Other: A lot of inter and intra-departmental fests are organized to give students an exposure to technical and co-curricular activities.

Best textile college for young generation.
Placements: Excellent placement for those students who all clear in time. And placement also depends on the interest in Industrial training. Completed good and different project work. Top industries recruitment some excellent student like trident, vardhaman, nahar, sports king, saluja.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this looking wise very good, All type of different course available. Area of this is near about 130 acre. All building build separately department wise. Other facility like hospital, playgrounds, hostel, mess, OA theater also available. It's distance 6-7 km from bus stand or railway station.
Faculty: The faculty of our department is excellent. All professor have 8-10 year industrial experience with doctorate or Masters degree. They all have the excellent knowledge all about textile. The teaching style of faculty is excellent. The teaches us practically with any reference books. That's was amazing thing.
Other: Many event organized by different department. I think 8 department celebrate 3-4 event every year on (25 events) 2 main event organized by university All government. Scholarships avaible.

The college and the placements are good.
Placements: There are 100% placements in this college, so I suggest every student join this college. I have joined in this college, so my experience is nothing, but now, I suggest as this is the best college in Bathinda. The college infrastructure is good and beautiful.
Infrastructure: This college has the best infrastructure. They provide all the facilities, which helps in the comfortness of the student. The lecture hall is comfort to study. The light and ventilation are good so that the students are not irritated. The best part is the front portion of the college.
Faculty: The teachers in the college are good, friendly, highly educated, and help the student every time. They work hard for the students, and they encourage the students to study and personal things.

Absolutely rubbish, worst college where i have wasted Rs. 6-7 lakhs for my BTech and regret forever.
Placements: There are no placements in this college as this is a government college. So nobody bothers about the placements and the recruiters. This college behaves rudely with the recruiters, and that's why they don't come back after they went through this scenario like ugly food is offered to them when they came for the placements and full harassment during the course and after the course when refunding your security.
Infrastructure: What to say about the infrastructure as it is a jungle. Everyone can understand when I said jungle because of the worst infrastructure. The classes are like too bad, and fees are like a private college, and the library doesn't have sufficient books, and the medical facilities are also poor. According to the sports activities, it is good when we talk about the coaches. There is no trainer for any sport; just your workshop teacher helps you a little bit. The Wi-Fi facility is like Reliance Jio's speed 20KBPS, and even another worse thing is that you will get a unique Wi-Fi ID and password, but you cant operate your phone in the campus. What to say about the hostel food, it is like jungle food. You can't even look at the food as it is the worse, can't even think about its taste. The hostel rooms are again the worst. Nothing is there in the rooms. There is a heater, cooler and three four-seated rooms. There is no privacy. The privacy is the most important thing when you are in a college.
Faculty: The faculty is like they are knowledgeable but as they are from different regions like Bengal and Rajasthan, the students are not able to understand their accent, and it is hard to manage with the studies. The permanent staff are not bothering enough, but the contract base teachers are good. We do get the industry exposure after one year of the course, and the bad thing is that when you get the industry exposure, you cant change your course. So no benefits of industry exposures at all. You won't get any books if you are going for textile engineering. You just have to learn from here and there like on the internet or from the teacher's notes. The course curriculum is depended whether your teacher guides you or helps you to identify about your course in detail then you will get the benefits and can change your decisions accordingly. But if they don't, then your future is spoiled. I can give this in writing that they will introduce you to the job exposures about whatever you are going to learn and the skills you will apply at your job.
Other: The fests are like earning money for the teachers as they do arrangements for the fests and earn money by taking enough charges and paying less to the fest vendors. The worst part is that there will be no celebrity in your fest. This is their policy to ruin the fest, and obviously, there will be no crowd, and they don't have limitations of funds. The scholarships are a waste from which I have suffered for four years of B.Tech. They don't even inform you about your scholarship. If you get any scholarship from any society, you have to worry and always ask the accounts department for your money, and the worst part of this college is the accounts dept. It is like a total waste. I wish no-one will have to go for anything to the accounts branch.
