It has a good infrastructure, great faculty and amazing life. There is little scope for improvement.
Placements: Our batch didn't have placements for two reasons. The first reason is we were the first batch to graduate from the school. Moreover, we were only three in number, and all of us had quite clear goals about what we wanted to do next. Hence, the need for placements for our batch was minimal. For subsequent batches, our college and its staff members are working to provide placements in relevant industries by taking feedback from students about their fields of interest.
Infrastructure: There are no many things to complain about the infrastructure of our college. Classrooms are great, and the labs are very well-equipped. The library is well-stocked. Even the school has its own library, which is growing with time. It is stocked with a plethora of amazing books which are relevant to all humanities and courses. I don't have first-hand experience of the hostel as I was a day scholar. However, from what I have heard from our juniors, hostel facilities are also really good here. There are multiple canteens on our campus, where a huge variety of dishes are available. The quality of the food served is above average, and it is pocket-friendly.
Faculty: All faculty members here are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Most of them are quite experienced and eager to share not only knowledge related to the course but also discuss things extending beyond the course to real-world situations. I had an amazing time with the faculty members here. We had really engaging discussions about academics. Sometimes, we even would go to the canteen together and talk about our personal lives. The coursework and curriculum were quite relevant to the field and have helped me to prepare for further studies and competitive examinations as well.
Other: I have always been interested in studying English. But due to various reasons, I was unable to pursue it at an earlier stage. However, I finally got a chance to study English now, and I am really glad that I chose to pursue this course here. Coursework, faculty members and everything were amazing here, and they really helped me to build my career in the field of English. I am currently pursuing my PhD at a central university, which wouldn't have been possible without all the support and encouragement provided by our school. The only drawback of our university is its location. It is situated far away from the city, so travelling takes a very long time. The campus is also not as well-connected to the city as I would have preferred. Public transport is not always available, and even when it is available, it is quite expensive because of the remote location.
