If you don't think money is a matter and want to learn college life(not academic knowledge),heree it

Placements: Core (ECE) placements was very less (only 2 to 3 companies). You will get software companies. Mostly TCS (50%), Accenture (25%), tech machines (10%), remain (15%). And these software companies do take any branch, from CSC to bio-tech, M.Tech and MCA. Most of the packages was in 3 to 4 LPA. Very rarely comes 6 LPA package, even if it comes takes students on finger tips. So out of all around 50-60% placements will happen. Is that placements looking good? Don't get fooled with that, it's very less ...

Even though good facilities, satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: Being the student of GITAM, the news of placement changes every year. I mean if last year, there are no placements, then this year will have placements, exactly in next year. It's total confusion and still in confusion about GITAM placements. It also depends on the course we selected. Training and placements need to replace their faculty more effective in the college.

Dissatisfaction for M.Tech because of faculty and placements.

Placements: So many companies came to this college. Some of my seniors selected in some companies. Compared to M.Tech, B.Tech students got more placements. The students selected and placed from this college having good skills. The core companies offers more jobs for undergraduate students.

Slightly disappointed due to the extra restrictions on the behaviour and the dress code.

Placements: Here, TCS is the major recruiter. Apart from them, Accenture, Tech Mahindra has done the mass recruitment multiple times. We got a package above 10 LPA, and you are the college famous. Above all, don't expect any jobs other the software, and the people feel lucky getting 6 LPA.

A review of GITAM, Hyderabad.

Placements: Placements are an illusion here. My super seniors got placed in MNCs like TechM and NTT Data but never received a call letter. My seniors are still waiting for the recruiters to come to their rescue. Placements have been constantly facing a decline from last three years. No MNC had come for recruitment this entire year.

The college has very high fees and not recommended to join by paying so much money.

Placements: The college has the worst placements as only TCS and Accenture come to the college for recruiting. The college has no other companies to come and recruit in mass which is very problematic to the students and some fake companies also come for the placements. The college is not at all good for placements. Please, don't bluff the students.

The college is good not the best, and the students will be spoiled easily.

Placements: The placement percentage is 90%. Nearly, five multinational companies visit the campus. Most of the students got selected by TCS. We can easily get the job in the university. The placements will be conducted according to the student capability. The companies like Amazon, Tata Consultancy, Flipkart, Deloitte, Accenture, etc., visit the campus. The job is confirmed for those who passed out on the campus. Wipro and Microsoft are the best among all. The maximum students in GITAM have the bookish kno...

Dissatisfied with the faculty, placements, and the others facilities.

Placements: The Gitam University is mainly known for the placements. But unfortunately, it is just a statement. I do agree that most of the students get placed. About, 600 students every year are placed in the TCS company. Deloitte and the other companies are just 10-5%. The companies provide offer letter lately, or sometimes they do not call you even after getting placed, and we will have to face filtration. More than half of the students get rejected after the filtration process. The placements are just ...

The college experience for the first year students.

Placements: The placements are based on the student's skills. You must have at least 7.0 GPA for better jobs. TCS takes most of the remaining students with GPA less than 7.0. Last batch has 100% placements. If you acquire more than 9.0 GPA, you can get placed in Microsoft, IBM and other MNCs. There are some companies that come from the other countries, but I have never heard their names. But most of the jobs are offered from TCS than any other companies. The college provides good placements.

Placements: The placements are average. The main recruiters are TCS, Accenture and Wipro. The average salary offered was 3.25 LPA. The highest salary offered was 6.5 LPA. 20 students got placed in despite. There is almost 100 percent placement for 2016 batch. Most of the students got placed in TCS which is around 750 students in number. There is job guarantee in TCS if backlogs are cleared at the time of placements.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty

Placements: Frankly, this university is losing its fame, not drastically but yes it is. I heard my super seniors had got placed in good companies like Google, Amazon, etc. which do not show any interest in taking interviews now. However, companies like Microsoft, TCS and many others (about 12 companies) still show their interest to work with us. I must say, though this is not the best university compared to VIT, Manipal, etc. it can still provide placements to approximately 80% of its students. The salary w...

GITAM - The place where jobs are assured(only for CSE n IT) but we can't gain knowledge.

Placements: GITAM University is one of a kind in the state of Andhra Pradesh with maximum placements, infrastructure and fee too. Talking about the placements, in our batch the placement percent is above 90%, and in our college, maximum CTC was provided by Microsoft (9L), followed by Deloitte, Concentrics, Maruti etc. TCS hired the maximum number of students, about 560, followed by Accenture with an intake of 275 students.

GITAM-Don't waste your money.

Placements: The University has got a very good reputation in the market and every time they manage to pull some biggies for on-campus interviews. This academic year 2016-2017, nearly 800-1000 students got placed. Out of them, around 570 people got placed in TCS. This year Microsoft took around 18 students which is huge compared to other regional universities. Companies like Accenture, Tech-Mahindra and reputed MNCs hired over 500 students. Over 300 students got placed from CSE department alone. ...

Dissatisfied with my college.

Placements: Our seniors, who were eligible for placements were all placed. Boys did not get the highest package as there was gender bias in the placement system. A boy cleared all rounds and he did not get that company which was offering 9.5 LPA. The highest package was by Adobe Systems, which came to the college offering 20 LPA. That too was only for girls.

Satisfied because of some faculty members and placements.

Placements: Placements were good to say. The placement would best when you have no backlogs. The minimum package was around 3.2 LPA and the maximum package was around 6.4 LPA. The placement would depend entirely on your performance during the interview. The companies would be invited but only software based companies visited the campus. Core companies were very less in number.

Come here for placements in software, not knowledge.

Placements: If you want placement, it's the best university. However, you will learn nothing except enjoyment. If you want to enjoy in the batch, you will find no place like this. TCS, Wipro, Accenture are bulk recruiters here. Nearly 30 companies came and took placements when I was studying there.

Placements: They were good for the IT and CSE branches, but not much for others. Actually, you can say it is none for a few branches. Overall placement percentage is like 70%. The highest is 6 LPA and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. Only software and a very few core companies come. About internships, we find it ourselves after the 3rd year with no stipend.

Average college where innovations are not supported.

Placements: This year, the placements are going very good. Microsoft careers have selected 14 students for associative software developers @ 9.78 LPA and Mu-Sigma took 6 students at 21 LPA of 3 years of bond for Analyst, Delloite took 24 students for Analyst @6 LPA and core companies like Maruti, Bosch, etc. also took students from Mechanical, ECE, EEE departments. Many start-up came this year and are believed to come more and TCS, being the mass recruiter took over 550+ students at 3.3 LPA.
