The MAT 2024 CBT Phase 2 exam for the Dec session is scheduled to be held on Dec 22, 2024. Further, the Dec session results will be declared by the first week of Jan 2025.
A few more updates are given below:
- TANCET 2025 registration process for admission to MBA and MCA courses is expected to commence in the month of Jan 2025. The TANCET 2025 exam dates are yet to be released.
- The GATE 2025 registration process with late fee is closed now for admission to the MTech course. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
- The TNEA application form 2025 for admission to the BE/BTech courses will be released in May 2025. Soon, the TNEA 2025 schedule is expected to be released.
- The CAT 2024 result for admission to the MBA/PGDM courses is expected to be released by Dec 20, 2024.

B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. |

UG Degree (4 year) : In year 2017-18, for 4 year UG Degree, a total of 259 students were admitted at GKM College of Engineering and Technology (GKMCET) and 218 completed their graduation in 2020-21. Out of 218 students 57 were placed with median salary of INR 280000 and 110 students opted for higher studies. A total of 111 students were admitted in year 2018-19 for 4 year UG degree at GKM College of Engineering and Technology (GKMCET)and 111 completed their graduation in 2021-22.
