B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2017
Offered by Global Institute of Management and Technology

You can get admission in this college for good education.
Placements: I was a student of civil engineering of this institute, and I passed out in 2017. The management doesn't arrange any placements for our batch and the senior batch of us also. I heard that some of my seniors got placements in the college, which was fake campusing.
Infrastructure: The free Wi-Fi facility is available for students in the college. More about classrooms, their quality is good. There are various authors books in the library for all trade. They arrange an indoor sports game between teachers and student because they know entertainment is a need along with the study.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college are good and co-operative with the students for any help about the study. They try to give their best to all students. They teach us in labs and discuss the topics, which we will be practising in labs. They have good experience in teaching to teach all types of students.
Other: They arrange many events and fests on the campus. There is no campus crowd in the college. The Wi-Fi facility is available for students.

Global Institute of Management and Technology.
Placements: The college has no placements. No single student got placement in any good company. WBUT recognises the college, or we can say the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. I think this is not a good college, but it's okay. Facilities are good, and our TPO cell is the worst. So, overall, it is okay.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is not good. There is very cheap quality food in the cantine with oily food. The classrooms are good. The library is good. The playground is okay. Games facilities are not available. The medical facilities are available. The labs and equipment quality is very good in this college.
Faculty: The teachers are good and helpful for all the students. Their ability for teaching is also good. They are well-qualified, and their knowledge is fantastic. We can say that the faculty members are one of the good teachers I ever saw. They are good in nature, and they love all the students.
Other: The college spreads across in 5-acres.

Outstanding college, faculty and placements.
Placements: The placement is outstanding in this college. I got many chances from many worldwide companies. And also in this year, many companies are coming to this college. But I don't want to do the job now. In this year minimum, 80% of the students already got placement. In this year already 15 to 18 companies visited this campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, and also nature is very good for learning. In the canteen, you can get almost all types of food. And in the lab, all the students get all type of equipment. In the campus, you will get high-speed internet everywhere. The hostel room is very good and ragging free.
Faculty: The faculty is very good. They are helping students on the college campus. And you can get many types of books in the library. Student and faculty ratio is also good. The western type teaching method is followed in this college. The course curriculum is very useful.

Good for knowledge but don't expect much from placements
Placements: The placement cell is effective yet struggling to get good companies. Many among us and our senior batch were placed in a few IT sector companies like Oracle, RMB, Skysoft, Videocon, etc. There were no core companies for civil and mechanical streams. About 40% students were not placed at all. Mostly, people were offered between 1.4 LPA to 3.2 LPA at various field jobs (surveying, execution, operating) as well as office jobs (software-oriented). Internship programmes were not being provided from the college for these batches.
Infrastructure: Facilities are satisfactory with Wi-Fi campus and an adequate number of labs and classrooms which are well-facilitated with instruments for every kind of practice. A digital library is there for all, with a common room for boys and girls to have indoor games and refreshments. Various sports and games (table tennis, cricket, football, volleyball, etc.) Inter-college tournaments are conducted each year. Food in the canteen is good and the weekly schedule is revised from time to time, with the same being followed/cooked. Hostel rooms are big enough for two students to accommodate in each room. Hostel facilities like food, security and other anti-ragging cells are worth appreciating.
Faculty: Faculty members were helpful and well-qualified. Most of them took an interest in students and believed teaching in a synchronized method by carrying out practicals along with theoretical knowledge. The student-faculty ratio must be around 15 to 1.
I got industry exposure from the number of projects I was given as part of my academics.
Training sessions as well as grooming sessions were also conducted beside the course curriculum to make students ready for the corporate environment. The course was useful and the conduct was more promising.

This college is okay for learning not for career.
Placements: The placement of students in this college is very poor. There is a minimum number of students placed in the batch of 2021. There are no students getting any internships in any company from this college. Many recruitment firms, such as Simplex and MKC, select students from campus drives but do not pay them on time.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi is available but not working properly, and the education system needs to be improved. In the labs, many instruments are not worked perfectly. Hostel and canteen facilities are available, and the quality of food is good. There is a big playing field at this college and many games are played in the winter season.
Faculty: In this college, the behaviour of faculty members is good and they are very helpful. Many of them are M.Tech degree holders and the rest are B. Tech degree holders. Semester exams are not so difficult. 90% of students pass them. The courses of this college are all curriculum relevant.
