I am not satisfied with the course curriculum and infrastructure.

Placements: This year due to the drastic effect of COVID-19 pandemic, all educational institutions and many service sectors faced a lot of deprivation of their financial condition, which in turn leads to a reduction of employees. The highest salary package offered here was 10 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top recruiters for our college are Wipro, HCL, etc.

I am dissatisfied because the management doesn't support students.

Placements: Students in our college are placed well but not through campus placements. Most students got placed off-campus in companies, while on-campus companies are marketing and software only. Around 60% of the people get placed with decent salary packages from 2 LPA - 6 LPA.

I am dissatisfied with placements because the salary package offered is very less.

Placements: There are 540 students in the CSE department. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are TCS, Cognizant and other companies. We have applied for internships in Internshala. Roles offered are a team leader and other posts.

Am average rating for College as of no best faculty members but good environment.

Placements: Placements are poor in our College. 30% of students get placed. Maximum software come for placements. Core companies like L&T come for placement, but the students placed are very less in number. Software offer 2.4 Lacs per annum Core companies offer 3.6 Lacs per annum. College don't provide internship. We search externally. Placement cell is there even with Entrepreneur cell. They are just for name sake. Some fake companies also come for placements.

Dissatisfied with the placements in the college.

Placements: Many companies are visiting our campus for placements, but those companies are not that reputed. Recently, some MNCs like Riktam Solutions and Mu Sigma visited the campus for placements. Last year, more than 400 students got placed in the campus placements. Overall, I would rate the placements 7 out of 10.

The college shown during promotions and in college brochure is fully false, so don't join.

Placements: The placements on the campus are below average. Most of the recruiters are BPOs. The average salary package lies around 2.4 LPA. Tech giants like TCS and Wipro don't visit this college. The well-known two companies namely Capgemini and TechM visit the campus for placements but recruit the students in small numbers. Small companies which recruit the students take nearly one or one and half year to send call letters to students. The job guarantee is not there.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the quality of faculty. Really good infrastructure, but not facilities.

Placements: The core placements are few. In our senior batch, very few students got placed. The highest salary offered is 3 LPA, and the lowest is 1 LPA. Most of the companies are software only. 20% of the people got full-semester internships. In the second year, everyone got one month internship.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of administration.

Placements: No MNCs visited this year and Only few startups and small companies which offered monthly package of 15000 to 20000, even 10000 rupees by one of them. Don't expect stipend from internship companies referred by the college. Only nearly 30 percentage got selected among eligible students.

College for the affordable, good locality and greenery.

Placements: GMR Institute of technology is famous for civil engineering because it is the core part of the GMR group. The placement history for the civil engineering is good. Many companies related to the core activities come to our branch offering maximum packages. As of now, an overall of 300+ students got placed from the college regardless of branch. Gradually, the level of placements is decreasing, and the pay is low, and the companies are also not constant.

Good infrastructure, but you may feel less interested.

Placements: 400 students were placed in the previous batch, whereas, 180 students are placed currently. The companies which are having brand values are not visiting now. We can see new companies, startups here. Nowadays, GMR doesn't have any way to bring more placements where it is choosing startups and small companies.

GMRIT- a pleasurable learning experience.

Placements: The placements in our college were good when we were there. 68 members were placed in Tech Mahindra including me, 34 members in Capgemini, and 40 members in GMR group. These are the notable companies. There were many other companies where the students were placed.

Placements: They provide placements but only software companies come to the campus. Don't expect core companies for core branches. IT giants like TCS, Tech M, Capgemini come for on-campus placements. In my batch, we got around 300+ students placed out of 800 students.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements in 2017-2018 and management.

Placements: The placements of our college are not up to the mark. There are placements for namesake to show the number, to the outside world. But in fact, few companies are offering low CTC jobs, where the salary ranges from Rs. 7000 per month to Rs. 9000 per month. The jobs are not related to engineering. They are ITI jobs. And also the management don't consider our requests. The placement value is not worthy.
