It has good infrastructure and average placements, but compared to MVGR, SRKR is very good.

Placements: Nearly 70% of the students are placed in companies, and 90% of the students are recruited in software industries irrespective of their branch. The top recruiting company of EEE branch is GMR Groups, but core companies don't recruit many students. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3.25 LPA.

GMRIT is a good college to improve our technical skills.

Placements: From our course, all our seniors got placed even though they had backlogs. Our faculty members conducted remedial classes for them and made them ready for placements. The highest salary package was offered by Amazon, and it was 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were TCS and Cognizant, and some MNCs like Wipro and Infosys visit our campus every year for placements.

Placements: Our college is best for CSE department because of more number of students placed in software companies. For mechanical placements are less. Around 30% of students got placed in software companies. The knowledge which is provided by the faculty members is not sufficient for writing GATE and other competitive exams. It is sufficient only for writing academic exams. Most of the students got passed with more than 90%. Core companies for mechanical engineering department are very less. Our college pr...

Review of GMR Institute of Technology - GMRIT.

Placements: In the previous year, i.e., in 2019, there were 645 placement offers, and the average salary package offered was around 3.5 LPA. Most likely, all students of the CSE and IT branch who have programming knowledge managed to get placed, whereas the non-CS and IT branch students didn't have that much scope because the core placements are really bad. Core companies also offer very low salary package to manage our life. This is the scenario which we see in every engineering college. However, our colle...

Placements: Around 107 students were placed from the CSE department this year. All the companies that visited the campus are the coding based companies, and the average package offered is around 4.5 LPA. We should have good coding skills, and we should also be good at quantitative aptitude. If you want to pursue engineering in the CSE stream, then GMRIT is a good option.
