GMRIT is one of the greenest campuses in India. It has the best infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: GMRIT, Rajam offers large-scale placement opportunities to its students. Students are promised with 100% placements, but the percentage always matters here. The average salary package offered was about 3 LPA. Students pursuing computer science and engineering are sent for internships during their respective 2-month summer vacation. Good companies offer internships to students who don't have backlogs. GMRIT has a placement cell which provides a planned counselling to students that allows them to ...

Eco-friendly campus and good number of facilities.

Placements: Considering and comparing the statistics of our present batch and previous years batch, the present batch is 5-6 times much better than the previous years in terms of I can say, placements, knowledgeable, worthy and skilled students. Placements this year have started in the starting of 7th semester itself, first time ever in the history of placements of GMRIT. Also, Training and Placement Cell (TPC) of GMRIT trying hard to bring as many companies (Good companies) this year. The previous year, 8...

Dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: Placements in my batch were on par, and it was below par for my senior batch. Nearly 50% of my batch students got placed in the campus placements. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA, the average offered was 3 LPA, and the lowest offered was 1.8 LPA. Major recruiters were IT, and very few core companies visited the campus to hire the students. Roles such as software developer, business developer etc., were offered to placed students. Internships were not mandatory for my batch, so there...

Placements and infrastructure are good but need to improve the faculty members.

Placements: The placements during our period were good but could have been better. The training given by placement faculty helped us a lot during actual placements. TCS gave various opportunities to many students. TCS, Virtusa, L&T, etc., are the companies that visited the college to hire students. Initial trainee roles were offered to students.

The placements are good, but there are some problems with the faculty members.

Placements: Placements in the college for our batch were good. In our college, there is a full semester internship programme in which you should do the internship for the whole semester. You can choose any of the semesters for FSI programme in your final year. Reputed companies visit the college for placements. Every year, companies like L&T, GMR Airport, etc., visit the campus to hire the students. Almost 50% of the students in our batch got placed in the campus placements.

Placements: The college provides good placements and also a lot of internships to students. The college students get placed in top multinational companies. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary offered is 3 LPA. Overall, the college is very good for placements.

Good infrastructure and faculty but need to improve in placements.

Placements: Placement are good when I am studying. Now it is less comparatively but the college trying their best to get more companies by increasing CRT and interns. In my passing year we got nearly 200 placements. And the most visited companies at time were TCS, virtusa, Capgemini and L&T.

Good college with proper maintenance.

Placements: Nowadays, companies are not visiting our college. Even if companies visit the college, they take only arts and science graduates, but not engineering graduates. Very small companies visit the college. The college doesn't take the responsibility to bring new companies for us. Even the companies mostly prefer CSE and ECE branch students.

Not worth its name. Placements are good in number, but there are no core sector placements.

Placements: Placements for our batch were good compared to my seniors. We got mostly BPO jobs and marketing jobs. Almost 70% of students got placed. The highest package offered is about 7 lacs per annum, the lowest is about 1.20 lacs per annum and the average salary offered is 2.4 lacs per annum. Most of the companies were startups. Sales executive roles were offered for marketing jobs and trainee engineers roles for core jobs. Around 10% of students got internships from college. Mostly there was no stipend...

Placements: GMRIT is good about placements, but not excellent. More number of the placements are from software fields. Package is about 3 Lacs to 6 Lacs per annum. There are 50 to 60 percent students are placed every year. There is a placement cell in GMRIT. It is very useful to students.

Good infrastructure and placements, but the faculty need to be highly qualified and experienced.

Placements: GMR Group, Tech Mahindra and TCS are the major recruiting companies visiting our college. Many placement drives are conducted. Other companies offer very low packages and are also they are very small companies. Full semester internships were started from our batch, and I went for an internship, it is the best programme in the college. We can learn many things from the internship.

The college is good for locals at the regional level.

Placements: Well, the college has the better placement results in every year, but the pay was low as IT industries are increasing, but the number of engineering graduates is also increasing, so there is a gradual peak of jobs outside. Nearly, more than 300 students get placed on the campus every year.

Placements: For our batch first oncampus was indian navy. They have conducted GD come Interview and selected around 110 out of 550. Only half of the selected candidates got the call letters for the SSB selection procedure. And we got 3 to 4 software companies. For mechanical I think only 1 core company have come Hyundai they have recruited 6 people after all different tests. Placements: In our college, our branch is offered with good placements in various power projects in Andhra Pradesh and India. You will be placed when you get good GPA in your college examination, and you should develop your skill in group discussion and interview to achieve a good placement.

Placements: Now, I am a 3rd-year student coming an academic year, and I am going to enter into final year. I didn't yet experience any placement interview, but I collected some information from senior students about the placement. Around 80-85% of the eligible students are placed in campus interview. Placements: The placements were good when I was in the college, but the only problem is training and placements cell (TPC) doesn't allow students to attend the interviews according to their wish. TPC decides which interviews to attend, and this is discouraging to students.

Placements: Until 2015 placements are so good but from 2016 onwards there is a decrease in the number of students who got placed in gmrit. They will add students who got selected in offcampus also in their records. In 2018 they invited some fake companies for the recruitment. Average salary given to the students from gmrit is around 2.5lpa. Software developers and tech support are the major roles offered in campus.

This year, there are not more than three or four software companies that have recruited in our college that too with not satisfactory package. There were many BPO, Sales and marketing companies that have recruited in our college but the package was average. Placements: It was a drastic change for our batch compared to our seniors. Many reputed companies such as Tech Mahindra, TCS, Capgemini, and Cyient, used to visit our campus earlier, but now, it's a surprising situation if those companies visit the campus.
