The atmosphere of the college is very nice, and the tutors are very friendly with the students.
Placements: From the seventh semester, they become eligible for campus placement. Many companies like Yash Technology, RepAid, etc., come for placements. Some students go for pool campus drives in Bhopal. The highest package was 16 LPA in 2024, and the average is 6-7 LPA. Around 40-50% get placed. Some go for higher education. My plan is to pursue a master's degree.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is vast because our college is 125 years old, and the architecture is very special. The central library of our college is one of the largest libraries of the colleges in Trivandrum. There are sports activities for students, and NCC and NSS are also available for performing social activities. The festivals are conducted at an amazing level by our college union.
Faculty: The facilities are very nice. They teach us very well and are very hardworking. They teach us with full dedication. Students who want to gain knowledge always come to the college sincerely. We listen to the faculty and do what they say. We like Rajendra Pathak Sir because he taught us Maths very nicely. There are two semesters and four mid-sem exams in one year. They are all moderate-level exams. At least 5-6 students fail. The course curriculum is relevant.

The infrastructure & ambiance are very good, & the teaching quality is good.
Placements: This course is beneficial for clearing government exams like TNPSC, UPSC, and CDS. Many students from my senior passing-out batch have been placed in the army, and numerous students have successfully cleared government exams. Government and army-related jobs give priority to this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my department is very good, and the place is kept neat and clean. The hostel ambiance is excellent, providing many quiet places to study. The food in the hostel is healthy and tasty, and the preparation is done very neatly.
Faculty: The teachers in my college hold PhDs and their teaching performance is commendable. The semester exams are of average difficulty, and if you study adequately, you can definitely pass. The pass percentage for semester exams is 40%, making it relatively easy to clear the exams.
Other: I chose this course because my brother recommended it for preparing for government exams. My department conducts many fests and events to showcase our proud department. However, this course is not widely known, so these events help promote it.

The best college of Coimbatore Tamilnadu for Arts and Science.
Placements: A minimum of 20% of students from my college are placed in this course. The highest package offered is INR 40,000, and the lowest package offered is INR 10,000 in my course. Many companies are unionized, including paint companies from Japan and Asia. 10 current students got internships from our course and from my college's top roles in the course offered by the chemical management officer.
Infrastructure: The facilities are very improved and available for my course, as well as free college. Wi-Fi is available to all students in my course from college inside, and high-spec labs are available. Classrooms are organized properly, and many especially. Good facility from the hostel. Good foods to provide from the mess and canteen Medical specialties are also available at this college. Sports and games are encouraged in this course.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and loveable people. All professors are highly talented and knowledgeable people. The teaching quality is also different from that of other colleges. It's especially for students. This course provides many industry opportunities. Semesters will clear easily from examinations and also get high personas.
Other: In honesty, I selected this course because there are many opportunities to get a job, so I chose this college and course. I better than improve on many skills, including speaking and teaching skills. Events are arranged twice a month. A scholarship is also available. Extracurricular activities are encouraged at this college.

Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in our college. The salary packages offered are very low. Top recruiting companies are KFC, HCL, LIC, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is old. Classrooms are different for all courses. The lab is average. Our campus has general libraries and departmental libraries.
Faculty: Our professors are recruited by the government and their transfer depends upon their work. They have 10 years of teaching experience. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. They make effort to make us good students.
Other: Our college conducts cultural events.

A Place to experience Life.
Placements: The college offers placement for almost every course in our college. Most of the students have scored more than 90%. There was no placement before, but for the last 3 years, the college offers placement in various companies with good packages. Apart from that, all our students gain internships.
Infrastructure: Government Arts College, GAC is located in the main part of the city. Just a walkable distance from Coimbatore railway station. GAC has two separate bus stops to access. Two gates one on the courtside and another one on the racecourse. GAC has a large general library with a digital library and each department has separate departmental libraries. Every Science department like Physics and Chemistry has separate labs. Our college hostel is located at the racecourse. Near IG office and District Collector's Residence. There is a separate hostel for PG students, the only downside is that the ground is a bit of small compared to other institutes.
Faculty: All the professors of GAC must clear the NET (national eligibility test) and SET (state eligibility test), and even the guest lecturer must clear SET. Every professor has experience of at least 8 to 15 years, some have 20 years of teaching experience. GAC is an autonomous college but the curriculum is somewhat similar to Bharathiar University. The semester exams are simple but strict. Only 35% is the passing percentage.
Other: You can choose any course here. GAC is relatively cheap and best. You can complete a degree for cheap as only 5000 to 8000 rupees. There is no tuition fee only the examination fee. GAC has two main fests. One is Pongal which is celebrated in January and another one is Annual day which is celebrated in Feb/March. Extracurricular activities such as NSS, NCC, and Sport, our students have represented in national and international games. GAC NSS students will do a camp in various villages for community service. GAC NCC cadets have participated in national and international camps, especially adventurous camps.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of government arts college is very good as it is built in olden age with a antique look featuring a great classroom feel. They also provide a quality food in canteen and hostel. They also give importance to sports compared to education, we also have extra curricular activities in our campus.
Faculty: The teachers are very experienced with at-least 10 years. They have a great experience in teaching and understanding the student mind. The teacher teach and every topic compared to their own experiences and practical examples. The best college to achieve great success.
Other: I have chosen B.A. Public administration, it is a very useful course for preparation of UPSC and teaches more about government and its policies. We help public to create awareness of the government policies.
