Placements: Yes, last year my senior was placed in TCS company their package is about 3.5 lack pa and 1-year bond agreement This current year in 2018 final year students was placed in Reliance company. They offered package is 4 LPA and almost 10 percent of total students were placed successfully.

Satisfied, but not more than 60%.

Placements: There are no placements of our batch as I'm in 3rd year. Campus selection is only for the final year students. In our college, CS and IT department students mostly get placed as compared to all other departments. In other departments like civil, electrical, and mechanical, very few students get placed.

It is a nice college, but placements are less.

Placements: Placements are average. This year, the placement ratio is average. I don't know the reason, but many of our students are unemployed. The college is trying to pull out this problem. Many of our students are placed in companies like TCS and Cognizant. I wish more companies visit the college because many of our talented students are unplaced.

The reality of Government College of Engineering Amravati.

Placements: In the current scenario, we have about 20-25 students placed in a class of 72 from a 4th year with the highest salary of 3.5 lacs per annum and the lowest of 2.75 lacs per month. There is a placement cell which is very active and works for the betterment of student, but in the past years, the placement has gone down drastically owing to improper result and knowledge in students regarding industries, and it's working. The internship is on students and college doesn't help apart from giving permis...

The various reputed companies like Bajaj and Tata conduct placements programme in our college. The highest package given by these companies is up to 10 LPA.

Satisfied with the faculty members and the infrastructure.

Placements: The placement in this college is much better as compared to the other colleges. Nearly, 80% of the students got placed. Many companies visited this college for the recruitment of Fiat, Cognizant, Bitsense, etc. Many internships were provided in this year to the students by Fiat.

The method of teaching and faculty are too good than placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are actually poor, and one needs to go out for the job. In fact, fewer placements are there for the civil. As the computer science branch is concerned, there are much better placements. Electronics branch has poor placement. Before some years, Reliance used to come for placements, but now, Reliance doesn't come as the college doesn't fulfil the requirements.

Our college is the best in whole Vidharbh.

Placements: Our college has good placements records from last 15 years. The average package given is minimum 3 lakhs, and the highest package is of 12 to 15 lakhs. From last 1 year, the college is trying to give minimum one internship to the students. For the mechanical department, Bajaj and many other companies come here.

Overall, you can say it is an average college. It could be much more better than now.

Placements: The placement status is quite not up to the mark as per the status of the college. For the software branches, an average placement status is up to 75% with attractive starting packages. Although the placement is good for software, but the same companies do visit every year. For the core branches placement is not that good as software as a very few core companies visit every year, so a large number of students go for the software companies. For the mechanical, the placement is quite good, as many...

The college is the best in the region and is getting better across the country.

Placements: There are fair placements across the departments with leading recruiters recruiting in large numbers. Companies like the Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, NVidea, John Deere, Fluor, Hella, GE, Larsen and Toubro Limited, Shapoorji Pallonji Contracting Engineers, etc., visit the college. Refer the website for detailed reports.

Right choice for scholars in overall development.

Placements: Placement wise, Government College of Engineering, Amravati is good. Computer science and information technology departments have nearly 100% placements. Core branches face few problems. Electronics department also has good placements.

Good faculty, facilities and also nice environment.

Placements: There are only 4 to 5 companies come here for the campus recruitment. And only a few students get the job through the companies. The students who get recruited in these companies get a minimum package of 3 LPA. Also, the students with the grade above 6.5 percentile and no backlogs are eligible for the campus placements.

A good college in Amaravati region.

Placements: By observing the placements statistics of the college, IT (information technology) is having the highest placements in campus recruitment, with 45 MNCs giving a minimum package of 3 LPA to a maximum of 8 LPA. Next is computer science and electronics and telecommunications almost having a chair in every company visiting the college, the package is same for these branches. However, other branches including electrical, mechanical, civil, etc. do not play a major role in placements of campus. The co...

It is a best autonomous college for B.Tech.

Placements: I have got placed in the Precision Precast solution after completion of M.Tech because of my hard work and my teachers of GCOEA who prepared me as a structural engineer. The companies visiting GCOEA are TATA Motors, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, etc.

This is a government college with the autonomous status, so it is good for students

Placements: This college has good placement records since 1992. Now every year, 10-12 students get selected in Bajaj and other good companies. The minimum average package offered to the students is 3 lakhs. This college has maintained the placement record since its establishment and all the branches have good placement records.

Placements: The placements in the core sector are as always are average with some of the prominent recruiters like Fiat, TTL, Bajaj and Endurance in mechanical while L&T and ACC Cement are for civil while non-core branches have nearly 100% placements with mass recruiters like Cognizant, Wipro and TCS along with Cybage, Nvidia Graphics, etc. The highest package offered till date is 10 LPA while in recent years, the highest package is about 6.75 to 7.00 LPA and the average package is about 3.5-4 LPA. Sneak peek into GCOEA's civil branch by Ashutosh Khurana.

Placements: There are absolutely zero placements for the civil branch in our college. You can apply for the other software firms that hang around the campus for the students from other branches. Also, some companies try their luck on the college campus, and if you are lucky, you can get on with it. The civil placement sucks though.

The inside story of government college of engineering Amravati.

Placements: There are zero placements for the civil branch in core companies. You can apply for other software firms that hang around the campus often for other branches. Retail companies do try their luck in the college sometimes. Otherwise, in placement wise, Gcoea is bad for the civil branch.

Placements: The placements of the college are good. The companies like Persistent Systems, Cognizant, Infosys, MDocs, Nvidia visit the campus for recruitment. The packages are between 2.8-6.5 LPA are offered. There were 97% placements at my time. T&P officer MM Deshmukh has good connections with the software organisations, which are beneficial for us.
