This college has highly qualified teachers.
Placements: Placements at this college were good. Around 40-45% of students get on-campus placements in this college. Many startups and local companies visit our college for placements. The average package offered in our college ranged from 2-8 LPA. Top recruiters for our course were TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Reliance, etc. at the college. Top roles in our college were related to the development roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college was good. The college had spacious classrooms with all the required facilities. College labs had properly operational computer labs. The college also offers hostel facilities. Sports facilities were also given to the students.
Faculty: The faculty of our institute were really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teachers of our college were very supportive and helpful to all the students. Teachers taught us so well and taught us all the programming languages. The course curriculum of our college was relevant. It was preparing students for jobs by making them learn required skills.

A good place to start your journey.
Placements: The placement scenario here is different from that at other colleges. The bitter truth is that the ceramics department gets the best placement here. The average package of the Ceramic Technology department is around 8–9 lacs per annum, whereas the highest package from CSE and IT is only 6–6.5 LPA. So you can understand what the condition is. As the placement cell officer of CSE IT is inactive, students take a role in the placement cell and try hard for the improvement of placements. Recruiters like GEOTECH, Wipro, and TCS come here and take students. The total number of students in the college is only 600 so everyone gets placed here.
Infrastructure: The course is very easy for the first year and it goes up for the upcoming years. The infrastructure is good and our college has its own high-speed Wi-Fi on the college campus and in hostels. Labs are modernized and they contain high-end technological items. The canteen is not good and it remains closed throughout the year. A medical officer is also present at our college. If we come to sports, there are two grounds in our college where you can play any kind of game at any time. So don't worry about your sports journey.
Faculty: The exams are very easy to score. The batch strength for every department is around 40 and every year, 10 out of 40 students from every batch get a CGPA >= 9. The professors are very good and they hold the best knowledge in their respective fields. Prof. Kingshuk Chatterjee, Dr. Ambika Mukhopadhyay, and others are the best faculty members, as you can see from some average professors. Hehe, I won't talk about them; you will see them on your own. The semester exams are very easy and they are conducted every 4-5 months.
Other: The campus is good. I won't say that it's the best but yes, you can pretty much enjoy your life. At a time you feel that your choice about this college is bad but don't worry, there are more options that you can do with a Masters from IITs. Even I feel the same. Now let's talk about the fests. Our main cultural fest, "Jagriti," and our technical fest, "Karmatek," are organized every year and everyone enjoys these two main fests. Beside this, the Super Cup and other sports events are organized here. I don't think you need a scholarship for this college because the course costs are very low (around 1000 per month for CSE).

    Glimpse of GCECT, Kolkata.
Placements: About 70% of CSE students were placed this year. The highest package would be 10 LPA, and the lowest would be 3.5 LPA. TCS and Infosys are the major recruiters. Most students don't get direct internships through college; they get them through their own dedication. SDE and analyst were the major roles. To be very honest, the placement scenario is best for Ceramic Technology students; their placements are above 100%. For CSE/IT, most opt for GATE or try off-campus opportunities.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available throughout the campus. Only LAN Wi-Fi is available in computer labs. The library is comparatively modern, with a good number of books. Hostel is a joke here; with only 10 students per year, the intake is limited to only boys. There is no separate girls hostel. The canteen is not functional at this college. However, games are pretty well played in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are awesome; they are good to be integrated with. The course curriculum is good, as they have now made NPTEL lectures mandatory to get your B.Tech. with Hons. degree. Exam patterns are made by our college, not MAKAUT, as the college is autonomous. Semester exams and pass percentages are significantly better than those of other similar colleges.
Other: I always had a keen passion and interest in and around computers, games, software, etc. With the demand for this course and to satisfy myself, I took it. I wish the placement scenario could have been better. Events are well organized thanks to SWA.

This college is well reputed and value for money.
Placements: The placement statistics at this college are good. Almost 70% of students got placed in various MNCs. The top recruiters are TCS, CAPGEMINI, INFOSYS, TATA, GOOGLE, DELOITTE, SUNDALAND, IBM, HITACHI, AMAZON, etc. The highest salary package is 10-12 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA based on the students' knowledge and performance. The college offers internships in various MNCs that help students in their future jobs. Top roles are offered to software engineers, web developers, data analysts, sales managers, content writers, data scientists, HR professionals, customer relationship managers, and business analysts. Students can start their careers as entrepreneurs.
Infrastructure: The college has a huge campus, internet access, a large building, staff rooms, boys' and girls' common rooms, clean bathrooms, well-maintained and fully equipped classrooms, and lab rooms for the students. Things are almost perfect on the campus. The canteen provides good, hygienic, affordable food with a variety of food items available. The college provides medical facilities like basic first aid and health check-ups. Indoor and outdoor game options are available, and annual sports events occur in the college. The campus includes a playground. Separate boys' and girls' hostels provide clean bathrooms, internet service, security, uninterrupted water, and electricity supply. The college has a computerized library. The library includes a reading room with a huge collection of books and journals.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and friendly, always there for the students. They are qualified and knowledgeable in their respective domains and try to teach at their level best. They teach in a way that would be understandable to the students easily. They clear the doubts of the students and conduct seminars on different topics. Their teaching quality is undoubtedly good. The course curriculum is relevant and updated and helps to make students industry-ready and properly skilled. The semester is not that hard for those who follow the class and have a clear knowledge of the syllabus. The pass percentage is high, which defines the good education culture of the college.

GCECT is our 2nd home, and we are the best.
Placements: There are a total of 3 branches: CSE, IT, and CT. CT has a full placement guarantee and the other two branches need to have real talent. The highest package last year was approximately INR 6 LPA, and the lowest is that many did not qualify for the interview. An internship is something everyone eventually gets but the job is not confirmed. Software development is the top role one can get and about CT, I don't know.
Infrastructure: The college is well decorated with all the facilities, like a library room, labs, play ground, and so on, but the campus is small as it is located in the main city. One thing I can assure you of is that there will be no lack of games and sports activities in the college, as our GS is too generous and likes to conduct such stuff all over the year.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers here are too cooperative and like to share their ideas, which influences us to be better and more practical in our lives. The college studies are not enough to make us industrial workers ready but at least you can get a basic idea of how the industry works.
Other: I chose the course because there was a lot of hype created in my friend circle and I also wanted to earn a good amount of money. Our fest named Jagriti, is organized every year and we enjoy it a lot (maybe not).

The college atmosphere is very good. The seniors are helpful and they guide you in every step .
Placements: The placement scenario at this college is good. The CTS students have more than 90% placement; the placement rates for CSE and IT students are 60–70%. The average package is around 555,000. Companies like TCS, Infosys, IBM, HCL, and Amazon are the biggest recruiters.
Infrastructure: The buildings of this college are old and not that big to catch your eye. But the library of this college is very big. The library has a vast number of books and you can have the books virtually as they are uploaded. The hostel is not that big but it has all the necessary things students need .
Faculty: The teachers are very good; they are highly qualified and they make extra efforts for us to understand the subjects. The courses are well developed and designed and they prepare the students for industry and life. The semester exams are not that difficult. If you attend classes, you could easily score good marks.
