Government College of engineering Chandrapur Review.

Placements: I'm pursuing my degree in Computer Science and Engineering course, and the percentage of students placed in placements is about 45%. The highest package offered by our course was between 7 to 8 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average package students received was between 3.5 to 5 LPA. The top roles offered were software engineer, data analyst, and hardware engineer.

Our college has the best teachers, but placements are below average.

Placements: In our college, around 60% of students are placed every year. The average salary package offered is 2.1 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Mahindra, Byju's, Adani Power, Zoho, etc., visit our campus.

Our college provides good staff members but placements are poor.

Placements: Only one of my fellow batchmates got placed. Top companies like Wipro and TCS visit the campus but the hiring ratio is very low. Only 7-8 students got placed. Only very few students got the internship in a paid form otherwise no internship is given from the college. The highest salary package offered ranges from 2 LPA - 3 LPA by TCS.

There are placement issues, but our college has good teaching staff members.

Placements: Placements are very low in our college, and there is no scope for campus placements. Core companies don't visit here for placements. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is the only company which hires students from our college, and sometimes Wipro also visits. Recently CIIIT course has started which provides us with a little hope for placements after completion of the course.

There are no campus placements, but the hostel facility is good.

Placements: A very less number of students from our course got placed, i.e., nearly 10% of the students. Our electrical branch-related companies don't visit here to recruit us. Only Tata Consultancy Services visit our college for placements with a salary package of 3 LPA to 4 LPA. All students did paid internships in CSTPS, and any other type of internship is not offered.

Not satisfied because of faculty and placements.

Placements: Only one to two IT companies come for placement picking few students. Wipro and Paramatrics are coming this year. Last year, Wipro was the only company to come and that too picked only 7 students. The lack of training and poor quality education provided by teachers leads to poor placement for the company.

College campus is so huge and green. There is availability of hostel facility for students. Teachers are always helpful. If you want know about the canteen, it is good one where you get delicious and fresh food. Every department of engineering has a separate infrastructure. College also provides WIFI facility and LAN connection to the students, so that students can explore more beyond curriculum.

This is the only government institute under Gondwana University, Gadchiroli. College is spread in approximately 65 acres of area with good infrastructure. The college is on its way of development and in coming 2 to 3 years, it can be seen in one of the top colleges.

Permanent teaching staff is good, but visiting lecturers don't teach that well (mostly). Campus placement isn't as good as it should be. Not many good companies come for recruitment. The college campus is quite big and has enough area for sports and other outdoor activities. Infrastructure and facilities provided are satisfactory. College canteen offers a limited variety of snacks.

Placements: Here placement is not such good . It's give about 5 lakh average per annum and maximum package is 12 lakhs per annum but it's decent. And very low percentage of placement offers. 60 Out of only 5 to 6 students or go to max 10 people only have got placement and others go for higher studies.

There is a good infrastructure, but it provides less placements.

Placements: Very few students got placed from our course. None of the core companies visits GCOEC for placements, and exposure provided to campus placements is not good. The average salary package is offered by Tata Consultancy Services, and it varies from 2 LPA-4 LPA, depending on the branch. Only a few students got internships from our course.
