Review of Government College of Engineering Kannur.

Placements: I am currently pursuing a B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The last batch that passed out had a placement rate of 75%, mostly in the software and IT fields. Core placements were considerably low considering the ongoing recession. Maxlinear, Bosch, etc. were the major core companies that visited us. The maximum CTC in our department was 9 LPA and the average CTC was 4.5 LPA.

Compulsory internships weren't a part of the curriculum, but students were required to attend a week of i...

GCE Kannur is an excellent college which has all the infrastructure needed for learning the subjects. It is accessible to every student in the college. There are no restrictions. But I am not sure about the infrastructure of Kerala Technical University syllabus requirements. The college has a central computing facility which has above hundreds of computer systems with a high-speed internet connection. College also has 3D printing facility and a lot more. It is the best to learn new things. The p...

Environment of college is also clear and satisfied. And most the fees of year is only 3000 rs. So you can complete your engineering in only 12000. And in this minor fees you will get that facilities which will be provided in any private college. So I suggest that choose Government College instead of pr...
