I am dissatisfied with the placements in 2020.

Placements: Around 50% of students got placed, but that's not a proper placement. To show the higher placement percentage, our department's higher officials called a low-level company, and they selected everyone who attended the placement. The highest salary package offered is of 1 LPA. Top recruiting company was NCR corporation. All students got an internship from top companies like Ford, Sail and so on.

I am dissatisfied because the canteen facility is not available here.

Placements: About 70-75% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Zoho and Accenture visit our campus for placements. The average salary package offered ranges from 3.5-4 LPA. Many of them got an internship in companies like Zoho, Accenture and Mistral Solutions. About 35% of the students from our course got an internship at the college.

Review of Government College of Engineering, Salem.

Placements: Placements are so far average, but still, the college management takes the initiative to provide more placement opportunities through core companies instead of the call centre and the insurance companies. Certainly number of students placed in the core companies is less.

A good college for the students who want to gain knowledge.

Placements: Students of our senior batch got placed in companies like Zoho, Accenture, TCS, and CTS, etc. Most of the students from our batch got placed in well-reputed companies. Almost 80% of the students were placed from our senior batch. The management is still inviting a lot of companies to the campus for placements. I'm sure that the college achieves the 100% placement record. The placement record of our college is 100% for 7 consecutive academic years.

I am satisfied with this college, and proud of it.

Placements: I'm from Amreli, and I'm studying in Engineering College, Modasa. The college doesn't provide any placements, and it is hard to get a job. So, we can say that the college doesn't provide any placement opportunities.

Our college is the best compared to all other government engineering colleges.

Placements: Placements for our batch are very good but our senior batch placements were hardly good because of the number of placements in electronics and communication branch is increasing now. So we are happy with the placements of our batch. Around 50% of students from our branch got placed.

Placements: Our college have not take placementioned on regular basis. It depends on faculty will be there. Our department have group on yahoo so whenever any advertising come regarding to job then professor put this on group so every student are informed. For internship students have to find on their own try.

Good college when compared with other private colleges.

Placements: The placements for our batch are less when compared with the previous batch. The percentage of our seniors placed was about only 50 percent. The highest salary offered by the company is 600000 LPA, and the lowest package was about 200000 LPA. Only a few students got internships and there is a placement cell in our college.

There are good facilities, excellent placement facilities and, a really good infrastructure.

Placements: It provides good placements for most of the students. Me, including my batch, got placed. Even our senior batch got the same type of opportunities. I heard that my juniors are also getting the same type of facilities. That's why I recommend you to join in this college.

Review of GWECA, Government Women Engineer College, Ajmer.

Placements: I suggest you never take admission in my college unless you want to spoil your career. It is not because the college is not good, it is because the university RTU is the worst. They never check your copies. You'll get marks on your own. The placements are just for show-off. There are only 20-30 students out of 1000 students getting placed in marketing roles.

The perfect college for engineers.

Placements: The college provides proper placements. The students are placed in big multinational companies like Information Chips, Wipro etc. The students are offered with high packages. The college also organises off-campus placement drives.

The best college to get a good job and future.

Placements: Getting a seat in Government College is difficult, and that too in Salem is a lot difficult. The student must have 90%, and the cut-off is more than 180, and it is worth for that mark. Many interviews are being held there, which will get you a good job. I joined this college in 2016.

We are the Nagpur engineers.

Placements: Most of the senior batch students got placements in good companies through campus placements. They got selected with good packages and are happy with them. Every year, various companies come for campus placements and take the best from here. They even take care of the mediocre level students.

Must place to study engineering.

Placements: We had a very wide placement statistics in terms of companies visited and recruited. From auto to IT base, all the companies have recruited our students. We are having a good placement statistics record of 95 %. We are happy to be a part of GCE Salem alumni.

Government College of Engineering, Salem -review.

Placements: I got placed in an MNC named Caparo Engineering India LTD, Chennai. There are lot more companies to recruit the students from this college. Many IT companies also hire the students from this college. Basically, the students from this college have some extra knowledge other than the subject knowledge. So, they can easily get placed in more than one company and can choose a company from one of them to work.

A good place to enjoy the college life and a difficult place to get placed

Placements: Placements were not up to the expectation. It is difficult to get placed in core companies. Very few core companies visited. All other non-IT field people attended placements for the IT field and got placed. A few reputed IT companies come for placement.

Engineering - The life begins here at GCE.

Placements: Placements are quite difficult to get because it's a government college and they are not ready to provide company offers at their own expenses. But a few got placed last year with the salary of 3L per annum. But this year, no company visited our college. Our placement faculty says that there will be a campus drive within one month.

They encourage self-learning. Lab facilities here are one of the best. The lecturers here are greatly knowledgeable. The college campus is a plus point due to its infrastructure. Lateral thinking of students will develop. Here, we have to develop our skills ourselves rather than relying on the college to do so.
