Absolutely satisfied with the academics and other facilities.

Placements: We have a placement cell in our college. They bring mostly IT companies and they also help us prepare for the aptitude test and personal interviews. I got placed in TCS (one of the major recruiter). Other companies like Envestnet, Capgemini, Tata Elxsi, etc., also came for the recruitment process.

Major companies include Wipro, TCS, Mu Sigma, Benz, Microsoft to name a few. Majority of the students got internships via respective exams conducted at the college and there is an efficient placement cell present which gives proper guidance on career mou...

Good placements in 2016 and one of the best colleges.

Placements: The placements were pretty good for my batch and senior batch. More than 50% of the students got placed, and many had more than one offers in their hand. The average salary package offered was 3.5LPA, the highest was 6LPA and the lowest 2.5LPA. The students were actively involved in the recruitment process. The placement cell of the college is highly efficient and works for getting maximum placement.

Overall, it is average. For the placement, you need to do extra work and search for the off-campus.

Placements: Around, 70%-75% of the placement is there, but these are mainly IT sector placements. Only 10% or fewer students get the core placement, but those are joining for the post graduation degree like M.Tech, MS, MBA, who got placed at the top IITs, IIMS, and in the top foreign universities. The placement cell needs improvement to bring in more core companies.

I liked the college. It is near the city with good faculty, but poor infrastructure.

Placements: Since it is recession time, the placements are a bit dull (dull in the sense, these are affected the same way as in other colleges in Trivandrum). 50% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered was 5 LPA and the lowest was 3.2 LPA. The average is around 3.4 LPA. Envestnet, TCS, Mercedes Benz, Wipro, Quest, IBS, Mu Sigma, Capgemini and Zia Semiconductors are the few companies which have visited the campus. Few students got placed in Mercedes 2 years ago, and several university toppers are from the college

Placements: There are several IT companies to choose, and the core company placements are not high. But overall, almost every student get placement in companies. They were offered several beginner posts in the firm, but most of them provided good salary per year. About 80% to 85% students acquired placements and 30% to 40% students got placements in core companies.

Placements: Excellent placement opportunities were offered in the college. Every year many students get placed in more than one company. About 60% students (without backlogs) got sure placements. Companies recruiting are mostly from IT field like TCS, Wipro, TATA Elxsi, Qburst, Cognizant, UST Global etc. Some core companies also participate especially for the mech, ECE branches-they recruit very few people (2 or 3) unlike IT firms who do mass recruitment. As it is a government college, the overall fee for the four-year course is less than 50k and hence ROI is good -Most of the faculty have in-depth knowledge of the subject they are teaching and are approachable. Few of them are below expectations. -Infrastructure work is in progress. We had to do some of our labs in another government college (College of Engineering, Trivandrum) as there were not enough facilities in our college. However, a considerable improvement has happened over the past tw...
