* Internship Training Provided: Although limited, the college offers internship opportunities through organizations like CTTC and NTPC, allowing students to gain hands-on experience.

All things are now better, like placements, faculty members and hostel infrastructure.
Placements: Now various types of companies are coming here for placements. If anyone wants to study in our college, then their decision is good. The lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available in our college time is not much. The hostel is the best way to manage yourself. There was no Wi-Fi in our time. Our warden is very polite to us. Now all the facilities are available, but in our time, lab facilities were less.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Students are not ready for the industry. Some of our friends got placements, and they earn a good salary package. Still, they are not satisfied with their job because all got placed in the private sector. All want a good job in the government sector. Some faculty members are very good at teaching and behavior.
Other: I have chosen this course because someone told me that this course is better.

GEC Bilaspur A paradise for the underprivileged student to get their engineering degree.
Placements: The placement are good the are increasing year by year and getting better every year. The avg salary is not very high but the number of students getting placed is improving year by year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good considering it is a state government funded institute but it's facilities are not what to expect from a state owned building. Tthe library has a huge source of books and it even has a special book bank for st / sc student which is a nice considering the number of students.
Faculty: The teaching quality is excellent I can undoubtedly say that it's best in the state after central government funded institute and tops the chart in state institutions. It matches with the central government institutions.

Our college is very good from education point of view, but other facilities need to be provided.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities. Students have to appear for most of the companies on their own. Last year, only a few students got placed, and they were offered a low salary package of 3 LPA. There is a placement cell in our college, but it is not much active.
Infrastructure: Our college provides most of the basic facilities like Wi-Fi and smart classrooms. There is a vast collection of books in our library, but a student is limited to take only three books. The college doesn't encourage any sports and games, and the administration does not support us in such matters.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. They have a great knowledge of the subject, and they provide quality education. Faculty members use both whiteboard and smart boards. The faculty to student ratio is 1:22 in our branch.

Review of Government Engineering College, Bilaspur.
Placements: Hardly 1 to 2 companies visited the campus. The placement percentage is 5% to 10%. Students either opt for GATE exams or non-technical exams or pool campus drives. 1 to 2 companies that visit the college offer very low salaries and don't have any good project to work on. Hence, the college is not good for placements.
Infrastructure: The campus has 2 academic blocks, one building has Wi-Fi whereas the other does not have. Labs are available, but instruments available are less than required. Practical knowledge is not provided at all. A library is available where students can issue only 3 books. There is no place to sit and read. Medical facilities are not available. Food provided in the canteen is average. Overall, the infrastructure is below average.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. Teaching quality is good. They are qualified and recruited through CGPSC VYAPAM. Teaching methods are good. Smart class facilities are available. 1 to 2 industrial visits are arranged, but it should be better. Faculty members are sometimes engaged in different works given by the college authority due to which the syllabus is not completed.
Other: Events are not conducted in the college. A fest is held, but it's of no use since the college doesn't allow to take sponsorship and doesn't provide much budget. So, the fests are not good. Workshops are not arranged for any topics. Extracurricular activities are not conducted at all. Campus surroundings are bad.
