Placements: The college doesn't provide any campus placements, but our college is trying to improve our employability skills to get selected in campus selections. The college provides classes to develop employability skills of students.
Placements: The placements for our batch were quite better when compared with other branches available in our college. Around 50% of the students were placed from the recently passed out batch. The highest salary package offered was around 4-5 LPA. Only a few companies visited our campus, but the companies which visited were offered placements for all the eligible students.
Placements: 50% placement was recorded for the electrical engineering branch this year. Many companies have offered internships to our seniors. Our alumni work for us in providing guidelines and placements, thus it is good for us. Good opportunities are provided for students both in India as well as abroad. Our college helps students to find placement, and the many alumni of our college work for the placement department.
Placements: They didn't organise any placement drives. Last year, only one company visited the campus for placements, and that company hired only the students of CSE and IT branches. We have to participate in off-campus placement drives which are organised in other colleges. So it is very difficult for us to get placed in any reputed companies and MNCs.
Placements: Placements in the college have started from the last year. Facilities provided to companies by the college are very poor, and that's the reason why no company is interested in visiting the campus. We have expected good placement drives as this is a government college. But as the higher authorities and principal are busy in making money, the lower level management is not able to do their job.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities. Our training and placement officer doesn't even invite a single company. Open placement drives which are organised in our city or even other cities are responsible for our placement record if there is any. The placements in the college are nil.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities. Students have to appear for most of the companies on their own. Last year, only a few students got placed, and they were offered a low salary package of 3 LPA. There is a placement cell in our college, but it is not much active.
Placements: The placement rate is 5-10%. Students prepare for GATE exam, non-technical exams or pool campus placements. A few companies that visit the college offer very less salaries and don't have any good projects to work on, and hence, students don't opt for placements.
Placements: Placement rate is gradually increasing. Last year placement rate was better compared to past years. Mining has the highest placement record in the college. Some of the CSE students got placed in IT companies like capegemini, HCl etc. Salary offer ranges from 3-5 LPA. Internship opportunities are very low. Yes, college has a placement cell and it is useful but still requires some more advances and improvements.
Placements: This year, around 50% of students from the mining branch were placed. JMS Mining was the company that hired our seniors with good packages and offered the best facilities. The mining branch claims the best placement rate in our college, and it is a proud moment for all mining students. This college provides the best placement opportunities for mining branch students in Chhattisgarh. You have to apply for internships in the mines you know.
Placements: As it is a state government college, it cannot afford to invite many companies for placements. A few companies have visited last year to hire quality engineers from CS, IT, mechanical, and mining departments. The placement record of the mining department was the highest with 50% of students getting placed.
Placements: In our senior batch of 2014-2018, around 12 students were placed in reputed mining industries like Vedanta Mining, Hoy Mining and cement industries. Every year, around 7 to 8 students get placed from our college, and the rest get placed through other interviews.
Placements: Placements in the college are very limited. The administration is to be blamed as they don't call companies timely and when they do students are not allowed to participate as a whole. Only selected students are given a chance, which clearly indicates their intention. This is unfair and an unnecessary step, as the meritorious students go for competitive exams and do not take the opportunity of campus placement or the job in hand. On the other side, the average students looking for a job were not ...
Placements: I'm from the electrical engineering branch. Placements or internship opportunities for the final year batch are quite less every year. About 20-30% of the students get placed every year. Rest of the students search for jobs, and finally, they end up appearing for competitive exams.
Placements: Hardly 1 to 2 companies visited the campus. The placement percentage is 5% to 10%. Students either opt for GATE exams or non-technical exams or pool campus drives. 1 to 2 companies that visit the college offer very low salaries and don't have any good project to work on. Hence, the college is not good for placements.
Placements: Most of the recruitment in the college is for students of computer science and information technology branch. In the civil engineering branch, we students choose to participate in government exams and GATE exam ourselves. Otherwise, some of the students have a good walking record for placements. Here, companies will visit for recruiting students of CS, IT, and mechanical mining branch.
Placements: The placement opportunities provided by the college are very less or almost nil. None of the companies visits our college. The training and placement office is very poor. We opt for the training only on risk. There is a placement cell, but they don't provide any placements. Overall, our college is very bad at placements.
Placements: Placements are not provided in our college. We attend pool campus placements. The situation is the same for other government colleges in Chhattisgarh. Students of the private colleges get placements offers. We have to deal with a lot of competition to get placements as our seniors have told us, and they are still unemployed.
Placements: Placements in our college are very low. Around 20 students get placed every year. There is a need to further increase the placements in our college, and it is very necessary to take the necessary steps for recruitments here. Students of this college get nervous in the name of placements. They need a lot of proper guidance.
Placements: Placements in our college are not that satisfactory. But, the college is trying their best to bring companies for placements. The college is providing skill development classes for every student to make them able to compete with the outside world. They try to approach different companies for providing jobs to students.
